I know of one instructor that has access to a private range although it is about 75 miles South. I will keep looking for sure and pretty confident it will happen somewhere.Comment

Cool and thank's a bunch. I haven't heard of him but found his web page. It doesn't appear he has anything coming but I will contact him and see what's up.Comment

Is Monterey still processing applications? Last I heard, my application had been reviewed and submitted for signature, but there was a newly hired commander that was in charge of final signatures. They said they don't know how long it would take him to sign. My interview was October 23rd and my last call to the office was March 12th. Anybody with new applications hear back recently?Comment

I do not know if they are processing applications or not but it sounds like they are really dragging their feet. Mine took 4 months from the time I submitted to getting the permit in my hand.Is Monterey still processing applications? I would call and see if you can talk to someone...Comment

Yeah. I've called three times now since late January and it's pretty much always the same answer. Just "keep waiting and we'll get to it". I'm not in a huge hurry to be honest and I feel like if I call again it's going to be the same answer. All I really want to know is whether or not I should be concerned about my application. I don't see why I should be worried, but I was originally expecting 90 days at most per their website. Maybe I'll call again at the 6 month mark...
Anybody else waiting this long?Comment

I was wondering if fellow calgunners know how long does renewals take to process nowadays. My CCW expires at end of July, and I will take the class tomorrow. I will immediately file the renewal form when i get into the 30 day window. Any chance I will get my license before the old one expires?
