Anyone here have their interview recently? I had mine and was wondering how long it takes after interview to be finished

If you're unlucky like me, 6 months and counting. My references haven't been contacted yet...Apparently the CCW investigator that interviewed me left the department soon after and my application is floating around somewhere that isn't on the current investigator's desk. I've called a few times now but all I get is a 3-4 week estimate.

I suppose I'll go for call number four this week. I hope you have better luck than I'm having so far - it seems that others are at least!

My buddy did his about 3 months ago- he heard good news in 2 - 3 weeks.

No update , references haven't even been contacted yet , original application submitted in August, interview on Nov 14th, still nothing

Filed in July, interviewed in Sept. references contacted first week in Dec. Still haven't heard anything. I imagine it's just backed up.

My references just got contacted today , we will see what happens but it doesn't matter at this point. After I applied my wife got a job offer in another state and we just moved permanently back to the east coast. What will happen whenever they do approve it? Bc now I'm doing ccw process all over again but in a different state

I called and told her before I left California but they still are doing it , she said once it leaves her hands it's out of her control

Is anyone in monterey county listing an off roster such as Gen 4 glocks or G43 as their registered carry weapon? I know this varies depending on the county.

My timeline so far:

10/21/2018 - Submitted app
01/28/2019 - Interview (bumped up from 02/06/2019 originally)
04/22/2019 - Called to follow up with investigator. He stated that he hadn't gotten to my file yet and to try calling back in a few weeks.

Original interview date: 6/26/18 (earliest available at the time)
Rescheduled interview date: 5/16/18

My references still haven't heard anything even after following up by phone many times now, so I'm assuming my application has been lost. I'm going to send a letter asking them what I should do from here. On each phone call I was told that the previous investigator handling my application had left the department and that my references would hear something within a couple of weeks.
