    It's in the City Budget for 2022-2023. And I have some good sources that must remain protected.

    I would expect some kind of official announcement shortly after SCOTUS releases their ruling in NY Rifle v. Bruen and before Aug. 1, 2022

Fees for initial application are to be $130 app + $20 LiveScan. There will be NO Psych Exam required ($150). So this, plus cost of in-class and range qualification will be the total cost for a 2 year permit.

      Regardless of what comes from SCOTUS re: NY Rifle v. Bruen, I have been told Chief Egan will be issuing in a de-facto 'shall issue' manner. I hope SCOTUS makes this moot but even if we get screwed, I am confident that it will be much better for Glendora residents to apply directly with Glendora PD than LASD where 80% of the applications are still being denied. Hope for all of you too, SCOTUS does the right thing and this g-d "Good Cause" bull goes the way of the dodo bird.

      I realize I've had some strong words for y'all as I'm no fan of AV whatsoever. But our common goal is shared and I hope all of you know I ultimately fight for that. So, I wanted to share this bit of good news regarding my city of Glendora. Means a lot to me personally as I have fought long and hard for this with the City over the past 8 years.

      It's finally happening...
      This is great news even if SCOTUS removes the GC requirement because it allows Glendora residents to skip the current 1 year wait at LASO. I shudder to think how long the LASO wait will be a year after the GC requirement is eliminated. Every local PD that issues will also remove some pressure in the LASO system.
      I wish today's liberals could understand: You cannot be generous by giving away other peoples' money and you cannot demonstrate your virtue by your willingness to give up other peoples' rights.

      The more time I spend on this forum, the more sense kcbrown makes.

        Aragorn, I applaud you sir, for your selfless efforts on behalf of all Glendora citizens.

        I also have few kind words for AV. He is IMHO, a DemRat at heart. And I only voted for him because of his dubious distinction as the "LESSER OF EVILS".

              Type it out if you need the space and include it with your packet. Just note on the good cause section of the form to see attached statement. That's what I did on my application.

                  @epicnemesis almost every single person who has been denied has been because of good cause.

                      Hopeful that NYSRPA V BRUEN results in no longer needing a calendar year and hundreds of dollars for a CCW. Good luck all who are still waiting. Hang in there.

                          Had my LA County interview today, 299 days from application to interview. Was told to proceed to Livescan. is that good? or is it still too early to gauge it based on where it is in the pipeline? Work-related GC

                          Some information I got from my interviewing deputy;
                          - Approx 90 days from the point the livescan is done for everything to clear. If you don't hear anything from them during the 90 days don't email them until after 90 days have passed.
