I did my training at Firing Line in Burbank 11 days ago and liked it a lot because it fit what I was looking for. You don't have a lot of lead time and can simply walk in the same day or next day after getting your training email. The instructor was knowledgeable and experienced and was able to answer a lot of practical questions. Cost was reasonable: $190 total for three guns.

Yes, but that includes the time spent on shooting the qualification standards.

Just received the call from CCW Unit. Gonna pick up the license tomorrow morning at Monterey Park station.

CONGRATS!! I submitted same day as you, but I'm still waiting on my "proceed to training" email. Looks like that four week timeline from submitting firearms training docs to license issuance is pretty consistent, which is good news. I hope to hear something soon. Stay safe out there!!

Nice! The 4 week countdown begins lol. I think there was one user who received the permit pickup call like 2 weeks after submitting the training docs. Fingers crossed haha

That's yellow/light red. I thought that too but I guess not. What docs did they ask for if you don't mind? After the interview they told me to send a picture of the equipment I transport. It should be fine as long as you submitted everything they requested. Fingers definitely crossed.

Think of this in a positive way brother, it's better that they ask for more information rahter than denying you. They maybe forgot to ask for more supporting documents from the start.

If you have a business and claim that you deposit and pick up money, they will ask for proof. Whatever you write on your GC, you have to back it up 100%. No lying zone lol

Yep, it's a cash business so they asked for bank statements to show the deposits.. not much else I can provide, hopefully that works.

Don't stress about it bro, send them the bank statement. Hopefully it matches how much you told them at the interview and on your GC. It's not as easy as it seems to get the CCW here in LA. You have to be prepared for every obstacle along the way.
