Worked with Medic Up on a the TECC course. It's a pretty remarking course that involves shooting and the application of the medical knowledge.

Great refresher course highly recommend the follow up coursework to network with some pretty remarkable people, learn the application of your medical training and do a little bit of shooting.

I think the firing line is good if you're looking for a cheap course.

But I think there's a lot of value in courses like MedicUp's.

The MedicUp course is definitely a great choice. You're far more likely to apply those first-aid skills than actually using your gun even outside of non-violent events where someone is injured. Your knowledge and application of those skills could be the difference between life and death. Even if you ultimately choose the less expensive CCW qualifier class, a course teaching you to deal with traumatic injuries is a wise investment.

Somebody should go and ask him what his plan is to issue permits in the highly likely case that SCOTUS declares good cause requirements unconstitutional. Specifically:

                    1. Will he comply immediately or will he be waiting for something else?

                    2. What is his plan to deal with the deluge of applications?

                    3. What procedure will he require for all those who were denied for GC? Should they just contact the CCW unit for re-consideration, or do they have to start from scratch with a new application.

That's crazy, it's becoming longer and longer for the firearms portion to clear.

Do we need a witness and badge number prior to submitting the form ?
What good cause has been most successful?

No witness/badge - that happens at interview.

Work-related seems to go well. Self-employment also works

I've always been a long time lurker but not too much of a poster. Just wanted to give everyone an update.

Mailed in my application on 7/14/21 and just received a call today to schedule an interview!
