Not trying to be a dick. Just trying to inform people such as yourself that all these answers have already been answered. That link is from 2 months ago btw....
But to answer your question, you can totally submit everything to your nearest office. They will make sure to send it through the proper channels.

Just want to mention that I started looking at this forum last summer and read every single post from page 1 (there were probably only 30 pages then) and have read every post since. Huge thanks to Paladin for everything they’ve posted and to countless others for their contributions, as well.
If you’re really interested in getting your CCW, take a few hours to educate yourself and don’t ask questions until you have because I guarantee the answer is in here somewhere, probably more than once.
Good luck to everyone who’s waiting on calls or emails from LASD this week!

All you people need to chill. Everyone is trying to one up each other. So many of these questions should be moved. Let's add a common sense or Misc forum in the CCW and use these county forums for the original purpose. Because I feel some people's frustration.
"I'm want to carry a gun on me and play John Wick but I have no idea how to make sure a gun is registered in my name.... how do I figure that out."
That is basically what some of us hear. And to tell you the truth is fcking scares me. How do you people pay your taxes or buy a house and get around doing life. But you want to add a gun to your daily routine. I guarantee that's is what we think.
Without asking here are your answers:
1. I have a sh1t ton of holsters.
2. I search the CA DOJ Firearms website for the answer.
3. I don't care what your 3rd or 4th gun on your permit will be and nobody cares.
4. Call your IA (Issuing Agency) and ask them.
5. I don't know but there seems to be a lot of people hiking out in remote areas running into photographers with expensive photo equipment. Who must be taking pictures of guys with expensive tools in the back of there truck building who knows what in BFE.

Damn,
This thread toxic quick. I'm just trolling / kidding when I'm toxic boys.
Let's get it back on track. I'm the only allows to be toxic here.
But I do agree, the amount of dummies on here is concerning. However, I think the CCW process is just complex enough to weed out the idiots.
LASD had a good amount of calls last week for interviews let's hope to see more of the same this week.
Good luck to everyone who's interviewing and waiting for pick up calls this week!Lockdown

I believe this forum should be left to individuals that have been issued CCWs and (if wanted) be authorize to give advice or answer questions.
For those that want to be "know it alls" should realize you may be giving the wrong information for someone that really needs a CCW and you may hurt their process in obtaining one.
For the rest of the individuals that can't follow simple instructions....you shouldn't apply at all. Like stated in previous post, if you cant follow simple instruction, how and the heck is the county going to grant you a CCW and believe you can handle a dangerous situation knowing you acted appropriately?"Longevity remains a key characteristic of firearms- they last a long time, which means many of them will change hands." and now this...
Cut the crap. Asking a perceived stupid question or being unsure of a correct procedure has no bearing on ones ability to act responsibly during a potentially dangerous encounter. I have worked with many brave men and women who were very well trained, responsible, and able to conduct themselves properly in any given situation, even though some asked questions that were already answered or needed help with their paperwork or reports.
I think those here who are pushing the "how can you be trusted..." mentality are bullies, and bullies should not be allowed to CCW.....imho
Now... both sides of this silly argument have been heard. Can we get back to reading Lockdown's posts, which is the only real reason we all come here?4/6 Application delivered
