I am having trouble figuring out some dates.. I have the month and year for the single speeding ticket I had in the last 5 years.

But I can't remember the month/year for 3 things that happened when I was a senior in high school, back in 2009-2010. I don't remember if I was even 18 yet for these situations but, I am going to list them anyways just to be safe. Anyone know how I can find out? or if giving an estimated month and exact year would be fine?

Giving a estimated month and year would be sufficient.

Submitted my application along with the denial letter to LASD on March 24th. Still have not heard anything, is there any way to follow up with them ? My GC is light red, and also submitted documents with proof so I know I have a really good chance of getting it.

            Los Angeles

I submitted my application at the local station on 4/7/2021. I believe my age will play a factor in their choice process. (25 y/o)

Did listed two good cause statements:

Mountain biking with high value E bikes in remote locations.

Late night photography sessions with high value vehicles and $10k+ camera gear for clients. (Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, BMW)

At the end of the day its worth the $30 to be told yes or no!

Edit** I just looked, and they did cash my check on the 9th, could be a good sign?

If you really want precise dates I think you can run a livescan on yourself for like $40. Also did you try to expunge your juvenile record? If you did looks like you have to disclose.

My firearms portion of my livescan is going on 2 weeks. Everything else is done. Talk about the agony.

They deposited my check on 3/30 and I received a call on 4/5 from an unknown number. Just to give you an idea on timeline.

Lol me too. I've been checking everyday on the livescan status and the firearm portion is the longest. The sheriff told me it can take up to 30 days for the livescan results.

Good news: I went to pick up my CCW certificate and asked the deputy about the issue regarding LAPD jurisdiction. The deputy confirmed that going through LAPD is no longer required, no matter where in the county you live, and that application can be made directly to LASD.

For those who had an interview with LASD, did you get your picture taken? I was reading the other county threads and some members here mentioned they had their picture taken.

I didn't get a picture taken when I went to my interview last week but was told when the livescan results are received, i'll need to do my training.
