You're probably right and I wonder how's that going to effect the renewal process. Should we submit the renewal app the day we're issued the CCW?

So I am filling out my application, should I continue to write a good cause or can I just put Self Defense now?

I emailed the LASD CCW unit: “My application for CCW permit was denied March 1, 2022 [for insufficient good cause]. In light of the Bruen case,I request my application be reconsidered.”

I received the following reply from the CCW unit: “You may reapply one year from denial.”

I replied back: “My denial was for insufficient good cause. Good cause can no longer be required. This is a substantial change in circumstances and law that should not warrant a one year wait. How can I appeal my case formally to request a reconsideration of my denied application, or waiver of the one year wait period?”

I will post their reply when I receive it.

If LASD (and Villanueva) try to prevent those that got denied to wait ONE year, that would be a litigious mistake. Hopefully that was just an unsure deputy.
Thank you; filed this claim with FPC.

Yeah, Yeah, you got to deal with that same person in writing with registered snail mail and tell them your council demands this way of communicating. They are going to be so busy so soon they will just be making stuff up to get you off the phone. If you have no money at least give name of attorney that is advising you. Remember these licensing stooges in NYC fvked with NYSRPA plaintiffs Robert Nash and Brandon Koch just like these fockers are doing to you. Don't back down!

On LASD’s website, they said we are not allowed to add or change the firearms on the permit until renewal. Just curious if anyone has tried to add an additional firearm (if didn’t fill up all 3 slots) even though it says no on their website.

You can change firearms all the way through training - they'll put on license whatever is in the training documents

As to the underlined; might add "my legal council from CRPA advised me to communicate this way"

This type of arrogance must be CRUSHED with extreme prejudice. The fight has just begun. Time for a flood of litigation. No more bowing and curtsying.

Be sure to add CRPA as your charity in Amazon Smile. $#!thead Bezos canceled it.
