I’m guessing if multiple people who mailed it in end of June were processed in September/October, I wouldn’t be surprised if yours wasn’t processed until December/January.

06/26/22 - Dropped App to Lomita Sheriff Station.
06/28/22 - Money order cashed.
04/18/23 - Received a call to schedule an interview.
04/29/23 - Live Scan initiated
05/01/23 - CCW interview completed.
04/29/23 - FBI Background completed.
05/16/23 - CA Background completed.
05/23/23 - Firearms Background completed.

I talked to a rep at the station a little while ago, who told me they were "six months behind". I got two of those "Your application has been received..." email responses. I tried calling once, and the number on the website did not work.

Called the LASD CCW unit today. Got a recording.

Apparently, no one works there on Fridays.

Judging by his timeline (GL30) and mines we are pretty close to when we mailed in our app and when our app got in the system's queue for November.

Your timeline isn't that far you just need to be patient because its going to come up soon. Assuming by your timeline you probably went in the system sometimes in September or October. Just be patient and deal with LASD wait. Look out for ANY SPAM or unknown numbers.

Yup. The first time I called it did not work. The second time I got a recording saying they work Monday through Thursday. I called last Friday.

They answered both of my emails with the same canned, boiler-plate response: "Your application has been received. We are working ...."
