After a shooting, a CCW holder will have to apply to amend his/her CCW license to list a different firearm, wait for the Sheriff's office to respond, possibly take another CCW course, and then requalify with the new gun. If you're rich, I suppose that you could buy an extra CCW gun, hold it in reserve, and then hire an instructor for a private CCW qualification course. The rest of us will just be disarmed for months.

Did they remove the 25 Yard Or just made it the final round set?

I took my 16 hour CCW class recently and at the end we did a mock Alameda qualification test. I was told I would have easily passed if it was for real.
Did you have to qualify with the same firearm that you planned to carry on your application?

Lawyers are scared now due to the new unconstitutional law on the desk of the Gov SB 1327 forcing them to pay attorney and court fees even if they win.

Only one gun is allowed on the application but if you qualified 90% or above, you may request a second gun.
For the handgun in holster part of the test, does this require conceal carry holster only or open carry holster is ok too.

My guess is you just have to have a cover garment over the holster. A jacket, hoodie, button down shirt, jacket, etc., but don’t quote me on that.
