    The CII.

The Organizational Record Identifier identifies the issuing authority. The Criminal Identification and Information number identifies the person.

Easy way to remember... since the "C" stands for "criminal"

That's what they think CCW people are in Commiefornia. LOL

How did everyone submit their “references” for renewal? I didn’t see a spot on Permitium.

Anyone tried to get training since the implementation of SB2? My understanding is there are no approved trainers.

I just read over the new doc provided with the license, revised 1/2024.

Can't carry more than 2 guns at a time anymore. Bummer.

My CCW expires 03/03/23. I took qualification on 12/30 so as to get ahead of SB2. I sent renewal Permitium on 01/24/23 and got approval via email 02/08/23 that they approved and will mail. So effectively I got around the SB2 crap and lost 3 1/2 weeks of paid lic time.

During our 1 hour lunch break I bought a Hellcat Pro.

THANKS for the info! My permit expires in August, so hopefully that part (or all) of SB2 will also have an injunction attached.

                    So I have a dilemma...

                    - Completed 8hr training
                    - Got the certificate
                    - Uploaded the certificate to permitium & emailed the sheriff department that I did

Noticed that one of firearms serial# was incorrect on the certificate (I should've doubled checked myself that they input everything correct).

I assume I should go back to the place I got training so they can correct the certificate and issue me another one, but should I just upload another one on permitium and email the sheriff dept explaining the mess up?

You may want to call the clerks and ask them how they want to handle this. Maybe they'll just change it for you. But they'll probably want you to get the update cert. Worth a call though.

I would get the updated certificate and submit it to permitium.

I would get the updated certificate and upload it to permitium. I had a similar issue with a serial number, though it was pre-issue. I had to get the serial number corrected and uploaded to permitium.

Yup, you're exactly right. They had me get another cert and I had to re-upload it to permitium and they deleted the incorrect one.

I understand that for new applications, one of the 3 character references has to be from a co-worker. Is this accurate?

                                Hope not! I haven't had a co-worker in over 11 years!
