Ok, I get the comifornia made a law against advertising guns and maybe sort of gun training for kids....but refusing to allow kids at appleseed events seems like a bit of an over reaction. I get that advertising it for kids might be an issue but I don't see anything in the law that would prevent them from allowing kids to attend if it was not advertised as an event targeted for kids. Can someone make this decision make sense to me? I told my 11yo daughter about it and she got super excited, then I went to sign up and saw the no kids thing and I had to break her little heart and tell her that we could not go.

If you're willing to travel, you can take her to out of state events. Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona all have Appleseeds later this year.
Make it a vacation?

sigpicLord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

There is some positive action on it, but we still need to wait. Please be patient. I miss kids on my line as much as you miss getting to bring them.Comment
