Gun violence discussion in Costa mesa tomorrow night....

We need to turn out for this.....

"State Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris (D-Laguna Beach) will moderate a roundtable discussion Thursday about gun violence.

The panel will include representatives of the Brady Campaign-Orange County, Moms Demand Action and March for Our Lives, along with retired Costa Mesa police Lt. Clay Epperson and Dr. Syed Naqvi.

The event runs from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Coast Community College District office, 1370 Adams Ave., Costa Mesa."
"Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice. Moderation in pursuit of justice is no virtue." ----Sen. Barry Goldwater

Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." ----Benjamin Franklin

GUNS are running loose in the streets; jumping out of safes - loading themselves up - and indiscriminately shooting at people, in Costa Mesa?!?!

      What to expect

The panel obviously doesn't have anyone from our side.

They may require you to register for the event, those of us who are known may be told that the event is full even if it isn't.

Has happened to me and others not just on gun issues, the left doesn't play fair.

They will also play games with questions, like ask everyone to submit written questions, this way they will ensure that they don't have to deal with real questions.

In the event you actually can ask questions, remember that we need to reach the non-gun owners in the audience, not our choir.

That said, if I was present I would ask the following: since 70 percent of gun-related violence is a direct/indirect by-product of the Drug Trade and Gangs, exactly how is targeting innocent law-abiding Californians going to fix this?

Wife and I are getting ready to head to the fairgrounds for the Nevada County Friends of NRA event. Always a fun time. Hope some fellow CGers are in attendance. Have a great weekend.
