No 22LR Match for April at APTS

Unfortuately we will have no 22LR match this month. While we were visiting my wife's (Lisa) parents in Phoenix this past weekend Lisa started having trouble with her legs and feet which resulting in her having 5.75 hr emergency vascular surgery (angioplasty) this past Sunday to rectify a major blockage in her lower aorta where it splits into the two liliac arteries. The blockage impacted both legs and for a period of time we thought she may loose a couple of toes on her right foot. But all went well and blood was restored with the placement of stents to both legs (100% right; 80% left). Lisa is out of the hospital now and will recuperate at her parents house as she is not allowed to travel for at least a couple of weeks. I'll be returning to LA tomorrow but have had no time to prep so our next match will be in May, barring any other complications.
I'm only smiling at you while you talk to me because it's hilarious that you really think I give a crap about you.

As I've gotten older I thought I was gaining patience, then I realized I simply don't give a crap.

You must know by now how much your regulars feel about you. My personal skills have improved since I started shooting your matches. So has everyone else. What am I going to do Saturday? Angeles I guess?

Got back home around 3 p.m. Lisa is doing well so far, extremely sore, and bummed that she can't travel until released by her doctor to do so. Valuble lessons learned - never leave home without your med list (you just never know), and Kaiser outside of CA is for the most part unheard of (at least in AZ). Now I've got a ton of receipts to make claims on and I'm sure when I get the total bill from this past weekend Kaiser and I will become real good friends. Oh well, my wife survived the ordeal, kept all her body parts (not that it would have matter to me one way or the other - I'd love her just the same) and has a place to recuperate.

I'm working this weekend so if y'all really get to missing it too much come on out - I'll see what I can stir up just for fun.

Spoke with Lisa this eveining and she is doing well. Still very sore (duh) and very tired. She wanted me to thank everyone for the kind words, prayers and thoughts. Hopefully she'll get the OK to travel by next weekend or the following week.

Outstanding! Can relate to the sore and tired myself.

                          Bill,

Glad to hear your wife is doing well. Let me know if you have any questions. Was your wife already on blood thinners from Bypass surgery? Wow, blood clots to the Aorta are not fun...

Hope to make it out to APTS sometime soon....
