There has to be some solution. Intermittent time outs/Site going down is terribleLeave a comment:

Couldn't have said it better!Come on ya'll! Man is not perfect therefore anything man creates is not perfect. Let's not run away just because of a little trouble once in a while. This is a great group and we all NEED to stick together.
I can personally testify to the issues with running a site like this. I ran several commercial sites for 20 years and it can be a pain in the ARSE!
Be patient, stand by our brothers and support them.

I don't think he's so much - "Leftist" - as he is someone who designed and built a site to be sold to someone or some entity to be managed. He's essentially acknowledged that as his intent. As a result, he's attempting to make it 'attractive' to any would-be buyer by 'regulating' the content and timbre. Those attempts include what many here feel to be 'censorship.' My take is that it's more related to his personal sense of aesthetic and what he deems marketability.
Insofar as what you describe as 'throwing money down the drain here,' that depends on the premise one works from. If you feel the site is about 'done' and will imminently collapse, then such would be a 'logical,' maybe even 'reasonable,' deduction. On the other hand, if you have faith in Kestryll and believe in the site, it's shilling for something many remaining here don't see or desire. Finally, if you simply accept the site for what it is and assume it's being 'worked on,' no matter how slowly and with intermittent success, then it tends to be irritating to have an handful of members throwing out that type of assessment.
Which line of thought is the reasonable one? That's up to the individual to judge; but, it certainly isn't productive, no matter which is closest to 'the Truth,' to keep posting that type of thing.👍 4Leave a comment:

Well, we can’t be here most of the time anyway.
Kes!….please give us updates on a regular basis.Leave a comment:

I continue to hope. But the almost complete lack of info from the site owner isn’t helping. He could at the very least post an update of what is happening.
And last week it took me multiple attempts and four days to be able to log on and make a simple one sentence post.Leave a comment:

Just curious to see if anyone has reached out to Kes to see whats going on and if there is anyway the members might be able to step in and provide some sort of assistance? I think it would be energy better spent then people coming on here and ****ting on the site because it isn't stable all of the time. I get the frustration, but this was a grass roots project that exploded into something awesome. It would be a big loss for the community (Especially in California) if we let something go like this, along with all of the archived knowledge and forums. And if the stability issue is a problem with you, there is nothing stopping you from jumping over to the other site till CALGUNS comes back online.👍 1Leave a comment:
