Carlson Tac Comp
I'm fairly sure I know the answer to this, but has anyone looked into the legality of the Carlson Tac Comp on a pistol/rifle in CA? Allegedly the open end makes it unlikely to pass any CA DOJ test, but I am unable to find an official ruling.
I thought it looked like a good less expensive alternative to the Flaming Pig. |

Please elaborate...
Are you asking about using this on a featureless rifle? What's the concern? I've been looking into the same comp. -Alex |

Any muzzle device is legal on a fixed magazine rifle or pistol.
For a featureless rifle it would not be advisable to run one. See my featureless build guide if you are doing a featureless rifle: https://sites.google.com/site/featur...muzzle-devices |
