Default WTS/WTT: Custom 1911 DGFM Argentinian Liscensed Colt Copy

SOLD!

Time to make some more room in the safe.

This 1911 comes with all of the original parts as well as how it's built in the pictures. The official model of this pistol is 1927. From what I understand these were an Ofiicially Liscensed Colt copy just like the Remington Rand, and many many others of that time period. This is a well made pistol. All it really needs now is to have some night sights installed(if that's your style anyway), but I've already put over $1,000 in parts into it plus the initial $450 I paid for it, so it's time to move on. This pistol shoots every type of ammo I have put through it without any problems this includes fmj, jhp, swc, lRn etc. This pistol is extremely accurate. I can easily shoot out the X ring out to about 20 yards on a small dirty bird target(still have targets)

Custom Parts:
Wilson Combat Magwell
Wilson Combat Grip Safety
Springfield Armory Bull Barrel
Extended Frame Safety
Extended/Oversized Mag Release
Shredder Grips from Davidson
Accu Lock Reverse Plug
20lpi Mainspring Housing
Wolff Springs
Cylinder&Slide 4.5# Sear and Disconnector
Hex Key Grip Screws
Kimber Skeleton Hammer
Fusion Firearms Carbon Fiber Adjustable Trigger
Durabake OD Green on Frame
Durabake Matte Black on slide

Other work done:
Beveled/Recessed Slide Release(right side)
Blend Magwell to Frame
Polished Feedramp

Yeah if you like Aggressive Grips than these are the only Grips to consider. Thats why they are called "Shredder" grips. This also comes with the standard wood grips that it came with.

Pictures of other side?

Sorry, I'm a little unfamiliar with 1911 styles, but this model doesn't have a barrel bushing? Does it have an ambi thumb safety and extended beaver tale grip safety?

This also has a lowered and flared ejection port which I forgot to mention.

Kelvrick, this pistol has been fitted with a bushingless bull barrel setup, so it doesn't need a barrel bushing in it's current setup. I don't like ambi safeties, so this has a single side thumb safety, and yes it has the beaver tail grip safety

Alright I went against my better judgement and said I would hold this pistol for someone, and it's paying me back.

This pistol is for sale. I won't hold it without a deposit. I am off today from work already and I live within 3 miles of 3 seperate gun shops we can do the transfer at. As far as I'm concerned there is no "next" in line. Whoever is the first person that meets up with me is the one who gets it. I am sorry to seem so brash, but I could have had this sold already if the person who asked me to put "sold pending funds" wouldn't have flaked.

I have had many requests to drive to the Bay Area... I will do this only if I can't find a local buyer, or someone willing to come here, and you pay full asking price plus my cost in gas.

PM sent. The holiday weekend and the fact that I am going to be in the bay area from tomorrow until Monday puts a bit of a delay on when I can do the deal. However, as I have said before, I am committed to it and won't back out. Wednesday is my first available.
