Looking for a shooting spot near Porterville
I don't live there or I'd find them myself. But I'll be going in Jan to visit a cousin who has not shot since we were kids. I'm hoping to find something with in an easy drive from Porterville. We both grew up in Farmersville and Visalia, But I have not been back in 20 years or so.
So where is a place we can throw a couple clays, try out an AR, and let him try a couple CCW sized pistols? I tried a couple of ranges and they are closed to the public due to Covid. But they would sell me a yearly membership for $50 ea.! So where can a couple of Old guy's go for a couple hours? DR

Might try Rankin Field for pistols and rifles. Otherwise maybe Bakersfield area.
