No , a 2 wheel drive truck should be fine . There is a well travelled road that leads to where we will be setting up base camp . We will need some people with trucks to help haul the trash to the dumpsters . After we clean , we will have a raffle and then set up the steel target shooting range , and those with 4x4s can go exploring .

We are still looking for an AR500 supplier that would be interested in donating some targets for the event.

We were able to get some steel targets donated by Industrial Metal Supply in Kearney Mesa. So we have some targets for after the clean up, and we will be raffling some off as well.
There are some other great items in the raffle as well,
Including some gun parts, and even boxes of ammo!

I just tried to send an email to you and it got bounced back. I got the following message.

Quote:
Address not found
Your message wasn't delivered to mike@sdmust.org because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail.
I was suggesting you add a link to the meetup page for sdorc. Its easy to join the event that way. A meetup page for sdmust could be a good idea too. I didn't see anything about the cleanup on their website at sdorc and its not listed on their calendar so the meetup group is probably the way to go. It looks like they even have the coordinates up. Anyways I'm thinking about joining along with my wife. Possibly camping Friday night.

The meetup site says:
Quote:
There will also be clean up supplies available for volunteers that don’t bring their own including: gloves, dust masks , trash bags, 5 gallon buckets , pick up tools, and rakes.
so i guess that's what ill try to bring.

The email is mike@sdmust.com

I might be setting up meetup for future events, but it charges $14.99 a month. Maybe in the future it would work for us.
