Well... yes... that is there, too. But I don't think of that as a "restriction" but as telling me that it's only good for 2 years...
And you'all know that I was making the point there is NO 10 rounds or less restriction...

In a life or death situation the last thing you'll be worried about is whether or not you are carrying legally let alone more than 10 rounds and those extra rounds could be the difference between life and death.

They are silent on this issue. I dont need permission to carry a legally owned OEM magazine in a firearm i am licensed to carry. If they put out the word that i cant, thats their prerogative. But i am not going to ask. I dont need permission to do something that is legal.

Or, you can take the position that, unless otherwise restricted, you can do legal stuff....

Delete this god forsaken thread. Anyone voluntarily ignorant enough to keep asking this question is contributing to the strong possibility of some IA’s deciding they’d better make a policy. What the HELL is so hard to understand about that?
1. They’re legal. 2. If there’s no policy at all, carry on, and SHUT THE HELL UP. 3. If your IA already has a policy, know about it. 4. If your IA announces a new policy, find out about it in a timely manner. WTF more is there to know? DAMN! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What can I legally do in life? -Use words of no more than two syllables (sorry); -Provide law cites; -Provide six case law proofs; -Explain future legal issues if any other laws are ever passed. -Keep response to 25 words or less. Thanks.

If you are unsure, and you are deadset on getting permission, I would call your issuing agency and not just take the word of someone on the internet.

Now, You’re clearly not clear on the gist of this discussion. The ability to use LCMs in CCW or other weapons hasn’t changed since 2000, with the exception of the now stayed provisions of Proposition 63. (Which opens the program to a new generation). Prior to the federal court ruling, the Sac Sheriff didn’t establish a policy prohibiting the use of LCMs in CCW guns. As previously noted, (in another post) the Sac Sheriff HASN’T issued any policy guidance precluding the use of LCMs since Prop 63 passage. That’s a simple fact, not, “...the word of someone on the internet.” If you think he has, cite your source. Otherwise, why do you think Sheriff Jones would preclude CCW holders from doing something which is patently legal and not tell us about it? As an example, he’s posted policy on no guns in businesses with “no guns” signs, so why not address this? Because he doesn’t have to because it’s legal. On a political slant, Jones has taken inordinate heat on the CCW issue, and his budget is coming up for the Board of Supervisors. I have no doubt he will take a progressive pounding for the “IG Issue” and can expect the cost of the CCW program to pop up, again. Sacramento Mayor Darrel “I tried to ban every semi-auto rifle in CA when I was in the Senate”, Steinberg is the mentor and “adoptive uncle” of Board of Supervisors member Phil “My Dad was mayor of Sacramento” Serna. And Steinberg is irked that Jones locked out the IG. The progressive mouth of the Sacramento Bee, Marcos Breton (apologies for not adding the accent mark) resurfaced this nonsense this week, and as budgets get closer, he will continue to pound the Supervisors and Jones. Silence on Jones’ part on this issue is far more intelligent than a policy statement. AND, if you missed it, the use of LCMs is LEGAL during the federal judge’s stay.

DO NOT BOMBARD YOUR IA WITH IDIOTIC QUESTIONS ASKING PERMISSION TO DO WHAT IS LEGAL. YOU ARE GOING TO SCREW IT UP FOR EVERYONE ELSE.

Let’s distill it to this: 1. Don’t rely solely on words posted on Internet fora for anything at all. 2. DON’T ASK YOUR ISSUING AGENCY ABOUT STANDARD CAPACITY MAGAZINES. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I carry standard capacity magazines.
They hold 6, 6 and 8. I carry firearms that were designed for concealed carry. Sent from my Nokia 7.1 using Tapatalk |

You can’t be free while constantly asking for permission. At some point, CCW holders may have to rapidly evaluate information available to them, and in a split-second, decide to take another’s life. When that happens, should they call the IA and ask permission to shoot? Doesn’t it make sense to begin that decision training now? We need to be able to gather information from various sources AND MAKE AN INDEPENDENT DECISION. With all of the information available on this site, an individual should be able to make the best decision for themselves. If they aren’t comfortable with the info, then leave the LCMs home. If they have to ask, “Mother may I”, they should leave the gun at home.

PSSST....It’s not illegal. BSIS isn’t going to set a policy. Your employer, not your “superior”, is on the hook for employment policy. They have lawyers on retainer to advise them. Ask your “superior” to find the answer.
