Talked with Ron from PSS this morning - they have 194 more scheduled to come in on Monday - so if you missed out this time, watch their social media or check back on Monday and they'll have more.

They do have the TLR-8A and 8AG in stock, and the 10% code works on those as well with free shipping and no sales tax.

Picked up a TLR-8AG for $220 shipped for the 8AG. Also, the total for the red laser 8A would be $179 shipped.

That's probably the best deal I can find anywhere now & pre-covid, before other places charge you shipping or sales tax after a discount code has been applied.

EDIT: Just received my tracking number for my Streamlight from Premium Select Supplies, just over 3 hours after placing my order. Pretty quick service.

So with the 8A, you have the rear switches. That means toggling the light/laser can be done from the rear of the attachment instead of the side of the light?

Also, is there a way to tune the laser? For example the Crimson Trace on my MP Shield has screws I could turn to center the laser.

Sorry, just now saw this.

Yes, with the 8A you have the rear switches and the toggling is done by pressing down on both switches at the same time. And yes, there are hex screws that allow you to adjust the laser. You can see it in the pic below.

Compared to the Olight Baldr Mini that I had on my gun for a whole 5 minutes before immediately taking it off, the TLR-8A looks, feels, and works so much better than the Baldr. IMO, it's worth paying double the cost over the junky Olight.

There were so many youtubers schilling for olight and the baldr-mini that I decided not to get one. Do you prefer the rear switch or the side switch? Also, would you recommend the laser option? Compared to the TLR7?

7 = light only with side switches
8 = light + laser (red) with side switches
A = alpha 'rear' switches
G = green laser
FLEX = includes high & low rear switches

When you see any combo of those above, that's what you're getting.

Mine arrived today. The packaging flap on top was opened but the item itself is perfect. Not sure if it was inspected or anything but otherwise GTG.

There is two options (Rear Switch vs Side Switch). Which is the preferred model?

Rear switch = much easier access and more ergo-friendly to use

I really like the 7a and I have one on my 17 at home. The switch is all the difference as I really did not like the tlr-7 regular version.

If you are looking for a quality, affordable alternative check out the Nightstick TCM-550. They came up with the switch design first and then Streamlight copied them.

Thanks OP, I didn't need a light, already have TLR-1HL and TLR6 for the subcompacts but for this price decided to give this a try.
