That's definitely an interesting one.

Let's see it go up to $10K

It's appreciated percentage wise more than guns.

It had better come with a blow-job from Kate Beckinsale, and even then, I want fries with that - free of charge.

Nice! Not bad in today’s market, but still a big jump from two years ago. At least compared with houses around me.

Neat guns, hope you enjoy them!

I think “5150” is the appropriate price….. considering what 5150 means.

The pricing on higher end P320 models make zero sense because Sig happily sells all the parts you need to build your own. $3K + for a P320 AXG makes no sense when you can buy a basic model for half the price and then throw on your own AXG grip for $300. It's the same for P320 Legion models unless you really want that challenge coin.

It’s in San Jose. His pricing is probably relative to that area and no one is forced to buy.

You guys wanting gun prices to be regulated sound like a bunch of communists.

To be fair, he didn't call for anything, it looks like he was just laughing at the idea of someone charging $200.00 over new price for a used G19.

Default Overpriced Handguns in the Marketplace

Yep, locality has a huge effect on prices. I’m lucky that I’m a short bike ride from half a dozen gun shops. I recently went to a shop up in Orange County and prices across all on roster in stock firearms were $150 to $200 higher than my local shop.

Certainly a convenience factor thrown in there. Travel time and gas add up when you need to go there twice. When you add in taxes, a local ppt thats $200 over msrp can be pretty attractive.

He also knows somebody is going to low-ball him, and then they'll settle somewhere in the middle at a reasonable price.

There is a Bay Area P-01 for sale at $1000.00. If you add dros and tax it’s probably $1110.00.

https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/....php?t=1728441

You can buy a new one at Triple A’s in Vallejo for $650 ( that’s the Covid price, pre covid $635 out the door . ) Save yourself $350.00. Triple A’s orders CZ’s 2 years in advance and always have them. Pre Covid a Tac Sport would come around on consignment every 6 months. It was the best consignment case ( Sig P220’s , the occasional p320 or p365). Not anymore . Just used Glocks from the panic buyers .

A lot of sellers have a different concept of “pristine” or “new” than I do. Looking at some of the adds, I have a lot more pristine guns than I thought I did.

You mean holster wear and an idiot scratch doesn't add character and value?

NEVER FIRED guns for sale that got me.

Someone is not being honest here. I have a dozen revolvers and most of them have chewed a minimum 12 rounds since I bought them. Why did you buy a gun that you actually never fire it?

Matter of fact, you don't pay sale tax for the PPT. You just pay for the DROS fees and service fee = $47.19

Well I did what I said I wouldn't do and bought a like new Sig P-365. A friend is moving out of state and said he can easily get one there, so he sold it to me. I paid $900 which sucks since that's almost twice the free-state price . . . but not bad considering what i see them go for nowadays here in CA. I guess that's another price you pay to be in Kommiefornia.

Almost all the guns I have sold were lower than what I paid for.

I sold the following on Armslist in June 2020 (Panic buy time)

G17 G3 for $450
G19 G3 for $450
Saint 5.56 for $750 (some guys emailed me with $850 offer, but I have already agreed to sell for the first buyer)
Shield 9mm for $325
Beretta Inox for $650 (with all the fancy after market components installed)
Beretta M9 for $550

Most of them sold within 5-10 min. The list will go on... I sold most of my firearms to fund for a CZ TS2, TSO or Shadow 2, but most of them for sale here are double compared to MSRP price because they are not on the Roster.
