Default Tin Can Range Mid 80's (The Pit")

Oh the memories of the mid 80's at the Los Altos Tin Can Range.
Pictured are a Chinese Norinco AK47 and a HK-91. Purchased from San Francisco Gun Exchange and Traders Sports! Los Altos was the only place that allowed rapid fire and tin cans. What a combination!

Picture looking west. Two Colt AR15 carbines one from H&H gun shop and the other from Traders Sports! There were no fancy rails back then. It was 2 flavors. Carbine or full length. Take it or leave it!

Picture looking west. A rare picture (for us) of the general public on the tin can range since photography of others was not allowed.

Ah... Traders in San Leandro of E 14th? That was a great store to window shop when I was a kid.

I moved out of the Bay Area in July 2000. The Los Altos Rod and Gun club was most wonderful.
