Project Appleseed Hat Creek Rifle and Pistol Club June 29-30 (Burney,CA)
Get ready!!!! Hat Creek Rifle and Pistol Club June 29-30
https://appleseedinfo.org/schedule/?...ate=California Project Appleseed is a non-profit organization that teaches 3 position riflemarksmanship (prone, seated/kneeling and standing). We teach you how to build a proper position, use of a sling for better accuracy, natural point of aim and more. This is great for all experience levels from beginner to advanced. We also tell the story of the beginning of the Revolutionary War, April 19, 1775. We need to remember what those brave people went through that day, and the days/years to follow. This information is being lost in our schools. Come join us!! Learn new skills. Dust off the rusty skills. |

This sounds like a good time. The weather up in Burney will be cooler and I live near Redding. I might attend. I have a Henry lever action rifle that shoots 38 special and 357 magnum. I'm a beginner with a rifle and I could use some instruction.

Starslinger...that is outside the calibers accepted for Appleseed..... caliber range is .17 to .32 .
If you have other caliber rifles, such as a .22 you'd be good to go. It's a ton of fun and yeah, 3000 ft is usually about 10-15 degrees cooler than Redding. Hope to see you out there.
