Default Nevada Permit Recognition - Effective July 01, 2022

Here is the new updated list of state permits that Nevada currently honors, effective July 01, 2022 - NEVADA

Please note that Florida has returned to the Nevada list! And that Kaliforniastan is still NOT on the list!

NV laws prohibits adding CA to the list, because CA refuses to comply with the NV legal requirements.

In order to be honored by NV, NV laws requires: [NRS 202.3689]
1. CCW training equal to or greater than what NV requires.
2. A State database of valid permit holders that is accessible to NV LEOs 24/7.

CA meets requirement #1.
CA does not meet requirement #2.

CA has a state database of valid permit holders, but CA refuses to allow NV LEOs have 24/7 access to it.
^Until CA changes to allow NV LEOs to have access or NV laws change to remove this requirement, CA can not be added to the list of States that NV honors.

The Nevada CCW permit recognition list has been fairly stable the last few years, albeit there appears to always be a couple of changes every year.

But it's not nearly as crazy as it was 10+ years ago when the Nevada Sheriffs’ & Chiefs’ Association had total control over the permit recognition list.

Nevada currently honors 29 other state permits, including "the trifecta" of Arizona, Florida and Utah.

Yeah. We go to Las Vegas (Baby) (in an Elvis voice) several times a year.
My Arizona permit allows concealed carry. Concealed means concealed so be a gray man. No issues at any hotel but I’ve seen UTube during shot show about some issues from Paris and the Venetian.

Nevada is the main reason I got the Utah non-resident Permit.

I live in Henderson, I have yet to have any issues anywhere, if it's concealed and your acting like an adult you should not have any issues. I haven't been down to Fremont Street since the shooting, so I am not sure if you show your CCW to the LVMPD Officer standing there at the detector if they will let you bypass it or not anymore.

Last time I was in Vegas was July 27, I had dinner at Tony Romas on Fremont and there were no detectors or increased LEO. From what I understand they only do that Fri/Sat nights. Where are the detectors placed? How do they control the people entering Fremont through one of the casinos? I saty at the Golden Nugget sometimes and they have 4 separate doors that go to Fremont.
