Cursory bag checks, no metal detectors. I was there last Saturday.
I'm there quite regularly. FWIW, they do run a private K9 through the crowd out front prior to letting people into the outside foyer. They've been doing that for maybe a year or so. Last weekend the handler did a really odd 'reach past me to get to his dog thing' that involved him feeling me up with his elbow around my 3 o-clock. He CLEARLY felt my gun, but didn't say a word. Nor did I get any special attention for the rest of the night. I'm still not sure if the touching was accidental or not. I've heard of 'gun detecting' dogs, but if that was what actually happened, it seems like there should have been some questions... |

For the record.. just a simple bag check as stated and no other security.. saw a guy with a dog just hanging around, looked like the bomb sniffer type.
Easy pleasy

(Cats.... wouldn't recommend it...) Stood about 4 feet from that dog outside watching for awhile. Dog didn't care about me or my gun. I watched it sniff several womens purses and get a treat from the handler for doing it. Gotta be a bomb dog. Last edited by yacko; 03-11-2019 at 11:42 AM.. |
