English as a second language? Kind of hard to be the grammar police when someone is doing the best they can. Forums like these help people learn. You have to be constructive in your criticism rather than just mean. Otherwise they will be too intimidated to even try. Nobody wins if they give up.

Put on a new trigger guard and shortened the forward pistol grip. Done with the changes now, this is how she's gonna stay.

LWRC M6A1

-Barrel cut/threaded to 14.7" and A2 flash p/w
-Troy 13" rail: the larger diameter gas piston requires modification to original A2 front sight, i.e., cut & grind, as well as replacing original barrel nut with Troy's; however, no modification of rail system is required
-Aimpoint T1 with Larue 1/3 co-witness QD riser
-Lasermax
-JP trigger

Did the lower put together ok? I had a Vulcan lower several years ago that all the holes were the wrong size, the shape of the lower was too narrow, and just about everything you could imagaine was wrong with it. Vuclan refused to replace it. Later I found out several hundred people were in the same boat. Have they since fixed those issues?

All went together great in about 20 minutes. My serial number starts with "M" and has a very low number afterwards. Its a V15 model, I think I just got lucky.

I think they probably fixed the issue. It's been at least 5 years since I ran into trouble with their V15 lower.

Nice build by the way.

Only the 7.62x39 mags have that type of geometry. The "banana curve" (just like with AK mags) is necessary for the 7.62's relatively extreme case taper. It's visually evident if you take 30 rounds of 5.56 and lay them on a table, one on top of the other touching (just like they would be sitting in a mag). Then, do the same with 30 rounds of 7.62x39. The differences in "curve" (gradual in the 5.56; excessive in the 7.62) are readily apparent. Just a little trivia.

This was my first AR,- (don't let anyone tell you that the plastic Bushmaster isn't accurate- that's 30 shots at 100yds with a red dot optic and my 50 something eyes). Magwell dremeled open and a BB.

Ok, so it's fugly. Considering that red dot covered half the cardboard at that distance and I could not see the target- I am happy with the results. Maybe I will put some MOE on it and make it less ugly.

Both have Battle Arms Development Ambi Safety Selectors
  • End cap used instead of a left handed selector arm on top rifle.
  • 45° throw version on bottom rifle

Just a tidbit... 10 round limiter (MAG281) for the 20 round PMAG from Magpul comes with a nice hole matching the base plate where you can rivet for 10-round permanency.

Well I am almost done with my AR platform rifle collection. May add a 6.8 and a 50 Beowolf later! Ordered an Aimpoint for the M4 clone and just need the ACOG RCO for the A4 clone.
