I’m not surprised he’s making illogical circular arguments. I’m guessing the pleading was cobbled together over the weekend in a rush. I doubt it was proofread.

I myself have been passing the word along to everyone these past 4 days... to co-workers, people at the gym, wife's friends (who's husbands are gun owners), other web forums, etc.
Assuming the numbers are correct, 350k sold at brownells, 500k at gunmagwarehouse. Who knows from PSA, say 50k. Add in that Magpul is out of stock of many Glock mags and all the online friendly stores in the country.

Let’s guess 1.5 million mags have been order. You really think Calguns member bought 80% of that?

Don’t forget to “gift” some regular magazines to your family/older children for hunting or home protection. Give now while it is still OK.

It was posted in some thread in this forum.

I also read that Brownells sold $350k of hi-caps over the weekend. That makes more sense.

So based on that thought, gunmagwarehouse may have sold $500k of mags as well.

So going with $1.5 million is mag sales, at $20 per mag. That 75,000 mags inbound.

That’s a number I find much more believable.

The ones you ordered and I ordered don’t matter. The total sold and to how many people are the only things that matter to prove common use. Also, as to the stay, there is strength in numbers whether it’s granted or not.

Brownells was 350,000 magazines their first day, not dollars (this was based on a comment made by a customer service rep). There was also a dealer that stated one of the distributors had 150,000 Pmags Sunday morning and zero by the end of the day.

PSA also stated that they have fulfilled thousands of orders so far.

I'd say that a minimum of 500,000 mags sold over the weekend and I wouldn't be surprised if we have exceeded 1,000,000 standard capacity magazines and high capacity drums.

A whole lot of freedom!

California has 40 million people. If we assume that 1/10th of 1% of the population is "on the ball" enough to notice this and order something, and we assume an average order size of 10 mags (or about $150 in pmags), then we are looking at 40k*10 or 400k mags inbound.

I have zero evidence behind this number, but it shows the scale involved even if only 0.1% of the population takes part in ordering mags.

Whether it was $350,000 or 350,000 units, that a lot of magazines inbound. Either way, using the Heller decision logic, common use applies.

I don't know if it's been discussed or mentioned yet, but PSA is on the record as of yesterday stating that they will release sales figures into the case exhibits as soon as possibly today.

From: http://michellawyers.com/wp-content/...s-Ex-Parte.pdf

I look forward to seeing what that number might actually entail...

You can get Hexmags here

https://www.classicfirearms.com/hexm...blk-hx30arblk/

but only 200 at a time. Looks like they're still available too. Pmags are sold out.

I think they still have M2 available as of now... and it looks like they restocked M3... (I think someone said they went OOS for a little while)

They did not charge me tax on my 4/1 order, but I don't know if they've changed since. I believe the law officially took effect on 4/1 though.

I wonder how many thousands. And what the average number of mags per customer is. More than 10 each I suspect.
I ordered Monday morning & got my tracking number from PSA today.

What I want to know is not just how many are inbound. I want to kow how many are inbound, were driven in from out of state, assembled, un blocked and "found" while strolling in the park. We could be talking ten million.

Well, here is a really rough guess-
Approx 150 freedom loving vendors
Average of 2,000 orders per vendor
Average of 4 magazines per order

That comes to 1.2 million magazines

Gunfighter Tactical in San Diego told me today they sold 2,000 on Monday and don't have anymore. They are reluctant to get more in case there is a stay.

Each magazine ordered is a vote against Tyranny.

OK, it's just a more useful magazine against criminals, but the above sure sounds catchy.

If everyone were like calguns members it would be millions and millions... but the general public is not.
we cant get a counter of some sort?
we can prbably make it a sticky somehwere and everyone atleast from here on calguns can put how many they got.
we can either do just a tally of "magazines" or more in depth and put "glock mags" "pmags" "drums" etc.

Probably a smart move for any in-state vendor at this point. Anyone in a free state however can and maybe should get mass inventory and blast orders.

If you read this... they have vendors stepping up to share data, so worry not. It will probably be exhibited in full glory during the 9CA appeals process.

We can be certain of one thing, Dick’s sporting goods sold zero magazines >10 rounds in CA. Unfortunately, Cabela’s also displayed niggardly behavior.

I don't think either Bass Pro or Cabelas (one and the same now) participated directly in MAGA-CA-looza 2019, actually...
