LEO Vehicle Tactics & Countermeasure (Aug 21st & 22nd)

[TAC-1]

TAC-1 Vehicle Tactics and Countermeasure course is designed for law enforcement officers to examine vehicle ballistics and exercise shooting in & around vehicles while maximizing proper cover and concealment. This high paced course will push law enforcement officers to utilize effective shooting positions and safe manipulation of their firearms.

Course Prerequisites: Current LE / mil / gov credentials.

- August 21th, 2021 (Sat) 0800 to 1700
- August 22th, 2021 (Sun) 0800 to 1700

COST: $325

Equipment List:

• Handgun with at least 5 magazines and magazine pouch.
• Duty Holster (paddle holsters are not allowed). Holsters must provide an active retention device and be able to keep the holster in place while running or moving in and out of positions. No SERPA or Vanguard type holsters.
• If Carbine/Shotgun - must have sling. A minimum of 3 magazines and a method to secure them is required. Carbine needs to be zeroed prior to class.
• 400 rounds handgun / 100 rounds carbine (no green tip) ammunition / 50 shotgun rounds (optional).
• PPE for force on force training.
• CAT or SOF T TQ on your person is mandatory and an IFAK is recommended.
• Eye protection and electronic ear protection.
• Long sleeve shirt, gloves, knee pads are mandatory. Elbow pads and shemagh (face wrap) are optional.
• Full duty belt (your normal work setup).
• Work gloves to move cars on the range (sharp edges and broken glass expected).
• Notepad, pen, perm marker.
• Multi tool (Multitasker / Gerber / Leatherman).
• Water and snacks.
