I bought as many as I thought I would need, but I never thought I should stockpile extras. I still have enough left to build another M16A1 and M16A2 less barrels, but for now I think I have enough retro AR's.

Nice, I was issued the 11.5" barreled A2 hider version during my time in the USAF. Really loved it. Wish I had the foresight to get a pic of myself with it. Back then we didn't have cameras in our cell phones. Heck, we didn't even have cell phones. The ones that we got a few years later were as big as a brick.

Since I have my Colt 6920 now, I am actually thinking of selling this one and doing a 20" M16A1 clone build. It is a Fulton upper, with a 1/7 twist 16" pencil barrel and early style Aluminum stock. It will be on an Anderson lower, and can come with Hellfighter for in CA or without for out of state.
