The class is 4 hours and meets the training requirements for concealed carry permits in Oregon, Utah, Arizona, Florida, and Virginia.

About the instructor:
Robin is an active law enforcement officer with ten years of experience. He is POST certified as a pistol and rifle instructor and serves as a rangemaster for his department. In addition to teaching Robin is an active student and continues to take classes including SureFire's low light instructor's course, TacMed's law enforcement tactical lifesaver, Tactical awareness and threat recognition, and SSI's LE response to active shooter and terrorist events.

I highly recommend this class. Very thorough, and a much better price point than others out there. Took it 2 weeks ago and I already have my AZ license back, the others should arrive shortly.

Is this class all that is needed to apply for an out of state ccw for those states?

This class satisfies the training requirement for a non-resident CCW from those states. We also assist with filling out the application(s) and completing the fingerprint cards during the class.

FYI Robin, I just moved from the sweaty state, so here is a snip from the statute (790.06) to help a brother out:

"...7. Completion of any firearms training or safety course or class conducted by a state-certified or National Rifle Association certified firearms instructor;
A photocopy of a certificate of completion of any of the courses or classes; an affidavit from the instructor, school, club, organization, or group that conducted or taught such course or class attesting to the completion of the course or class by the applicant; or a copy of any document that shows completion of the course or class or evidences participation in firearms competition shall constitute evidence of qualification under this paragraph. A person who conducts a course pursuant to subparagraph 2., subparagraph 3., or subparagraph 7., or who, as an instructor, attests to the completion of such courses, must maintain records certifying that he or she observed the student safely handle and discharge the firearm in his or her physical presence and that the discharge of the firearm included live fire using a firearm and ammunition as defined in s. 790.001;

I highly recommend this class - worth every penny.

My personal experience:

Arrived at class and was immediately impressed by the setup, airsoft pistols with holsters at each desk and handouts ready to go, along with all the applications and a pen. Did not handle airsoft during that first session.

During the first break, did live fire test right there at the range, then ran to the bathroom before staring the 2nd session.

Returned to my desk and immediately noticed that Robin had swapped out my RH holster with a LH holster - after discovering I was a lefty during my live fire demo.

Kudos man, that's great service and attention to detail if you ask me....
