Default Ruger 9mm takedown that can accept Glock mags

Recoil posted this morning and has already taken it down.

For once it's not too bad to be in California....

interesting...

Now if it was chambered in 10x25mm and used Glock magazines, then I'd be willing to throw money at someome to make it appear before me.

What the hipster meant to say was that it would be too reasonably priced and reliable for his taste.

I too would be interested, but why a take-down? Seems like they should just update the old PC9/45 and they would sell a bunch in CA and other restricted states especially with the Glock mag option.

It appears that it will intitially be set up to use Ruger American Pistol magazines and that they plan on offering replacable magazine well inserts that will be set up to accept other brands of pistol magazines.

I'm in for one....here in Cali that will be quite handy. No grip fins, bullet buttons, blocks and no registration. You get pulled over with one of those in your truck(legally) (truck gun) most cops want bat an eye...

Give it to me baby!

Could care a little less about the take down aspect...but not much...

If this really comes to pass, I'll be wanting one... it looks like it'll be a fun, handy little carbine. Ruger will sell a bunch!

So long as we are not talking about Mini-14 pricing I am in. I would buy a featureless 9mm (that accepts Glock mags) like this just to find out how fun it is.

I would definitely pick one of these up if it actually does take Glock mags. It would also be great if it has the 10/22 trigger pack. My PC4 while it shoots great the trigger is a little heavy.

Naw PC9 will still be the cool big brother. This will be a nice alternative for those who don't have one and a nice companion for those of us who do.

https://ruger.com/products/pcCarbine/models.html MSRP $649, retail should be less than that

Sadly it looks like the 10rd version doesn't have a threaded barrel

I want one.

Heck, if Ruger made a take-down Mini-14, that would be even better.

I kind of like it, except the take down feature. I'd rather just have a regular old carbine. Not a deal killer though.
