They didn't have any on display. When I asked to see it (I called ahead), they pulled this one out of the back. As soon as I saw the gray I knew I wanted it. I didn't even ask to see a black one so I'm not sure if they even had it.

Factory German GSG-5 mags are about the same price as Hk mags. The ones available in 10rd (not easy to find at many sellers) are short body.

The only cheaper GSG mags are Pro-Crap, I mean Pro-mag, and they are maybe $10 less - not worth it

HK parts carries a spring kit which reduced the trigger pull from 6lbs to 4lbs on my rifle. A T-10 torx is required to disassemble the trigger group.

It’s a solid mount. I ran 250 rds through the rifle yesterday and the Botach mount, offset mount and laser sight all held zero. It’s easy to accurately shoot off the hip since there is such little recoil. (25 yards)

I ended up buying the pic rail attachment from HK Parts.

It wasn't cheap but the fit it nice and snug. I haven't shot with it yet but I doubt the massive 22lr round will jar it loose.



I also got this bag for it because It's cheap and does the trick.



As log as the bag is 28"x9" or bigger you're good to go.

I originally used a far less expensive pic rail mount then the one at HK Parts. I honestly don't remember precisely why I replaced the less expensive one...I think maybe it would come off ... I don't remember for sure.

Here is the Midwest Industries mount and a TRS-25. If you use this mount you need to get longer screws for use on the 22LR. M3x14mm

Yes, my mags from the prior model work in the new gun. 10/25 ones. Only difference is baseplate on new ones has "walter" embossed plastic logo missing.

I called them before I checked out because it wouldn't take my coupon and he said that it wasn't accepting the coupon because stock was at zero. So when it is back in stock the coupon should work.

Yeah. I bought one last night. Code still didn't work. Currently on hold right now. They tried to say to say a supervisor will review it and get back to me in 48-72 hours. Knowing full well that will never happen, I nicely said I will wait on hold until we can get this resolved now. Well see what happens.

If it's even worth your time ask to speak to the sup. Tell them you want the $50 off applied to your order, they presented me with that option. SW may have competitive prices but from my experience they're a pain to deal with like Turners which I just avoid these days. I'm having mine shipped to my FFL for the transfer.

Agree. I ended up getting a credit back for $42 and change.

Also it looks like they're back in stock again as of this morning for anyone still on the hunt. The 10% off will work if you're willing to put in a bit of time to call them and sort it out.

As far as mags go, I go through a former police officer who is now a private FFL and he ordered me 3 brand new H&K MP5 .22lr 10 round mags and I had them in my hands within 4 days.

Looks like new they are going for 420-450.00 plus shipping

I would say anything under 500 is fair, not long ago SD versions were going for more than 800.00 because they were discontinued.

I corrected my post. I see that they include 1 mag.

I have had mine for many years now and can’t recall if it came with one or two originally. I did stock up on plenty of magazines back when big 5 had them in stock.

If you are not in a hurry, Sportsmans is $420 plus tax, no ship fee or transfer fee. And you can sometimes get a $50 off coupon.

That is the price to beat.

The two extra mags are worth ~$75 total.

So that is the price to weigh against when evaluating what is fair, IMO. Obviously if you are in a hurry, a premium may have to be paid.
