I would like to order a reliable 9MM range ammo to be sent to my FFL in California, in bulk about 1-2 K rounds at a time.
Where do you folks source your reliable practice ammo? Can you post a link? Aloha, Steve |

And as always - if buying bull ammo - it's not returnable.
Do at least a quick search to see if others are having issues. Some companies load Ammo to the absolute minimum saami spec If you want to practice type 2 malfunctions, perfecta 9mm will tell you if you are not solid behind the gun. I can shoot it no issue in an old Glock 17 Friends get a type 2 every 3-4 rounds. Maybe the new batch is better Is very weak Ammo.

Get yourself a Dillon 750 and start cranking out your own. Reloading if a good way to save $$ as well as pass the time during rainy days/nights.
I can't tell you how many tens of thousands of rounds I've reloaded in various calibers....you really don't save much because you tend to shoot more. Once you find a recipe your gun likes, it's almost magical how much better you will be shooting.

I just use a local FFL and mostly order from targetsportsusa.
https://www.targetsportsusa.com/9mm-...ammo-c-51.aspx I subscribed to their Prime or Ammo+ program - no shipping cost irrespective of volume and also a 5-7% discount on most ammo. Worth it depending on the volume and variety you order. Last edited by FNGGlock; 01-17-2023 at 11:14 AM.. |

Is a type 2 like an FTE? Where the E means extraction or ejection; and you would know which, if you were a trained operator...

We recently started carrying Grind Hard ammo and I have personally used this ammo in competitions and I will say that this ammo is good to go.

I've been ordering from Bereli. Blazer brass 124gr is $275 for 1,000 rounds, no tax and free shipping to your FFL of choice. The FFL I use charges $20 plus the $1 background check fee, and that's for up to four individual shipping boxes, and doesn't matter the size of the box. Bereli usually ships each 1,000 round case separately, so when I order four cases it's $21 total for the FFL.

It's 29 Outdoor Gear in American Canyon. Awesome shop, great gunsmiths on site, and just all-around great folks to deal with. Very small shop but very big on customer service. I have done a few out of state PPT's there and had a couple firearms worked on, and they do fantastic work. Had them work on the trigger of my 686 and the trigger is amazing now. I have no affiliation with the shop other than being a satisfied customer. Taken from their website: ![]()

I like Blazer Brass. It's not always the cheapest, but it's consistent in quality and generally is near the bottom in terms of price.
