Default Idahoans support Ammon or hate Ammon?

I just received this email, and IMO, the guy is one of very few people stand on principle.
I could be wrong and have not "studied" about the bundy's.
I believe he is being railroaded

If humanly possible, Ammon needs us to be there during the trial IN-PERSON. He needs to see your support, and those that seek to ruin him must also see your support for him. A physical, interested presence by the public during the trial is critical. It may last for several days, so please come prepared to stay in the area, if possible. This is no joke! The Ada County Courthouse is located at 200 W Front St, Boise, ID 83702, and parking is easy on the southeast side of the building.

Why is this happening?! Because he dared, again, to oppose actions directly violating the rights of his neighbor. This time, he simply voiced his opposition to a baby being forcefully taken from the arms of its young, loving mother. As a result, the petty tyrants involved decided they didn’t like their evil deeds being exposed, so they arrested him for “trespassing”. Ammon didn’t hurt anyone, nor did he damage the property of another. He peacefully, yet publicly, expressed his distaste for what had just happened. If he is convicted, he faces up to a $10,000 fine and losing ANOTHER YEAR of his life in jail; away from his own young family. Does this sound like the “justice system” you want in Idaho? Is this a wise use of your sacred tax-payer dollars; spent prosecuting innocent people, having nothing but goodwill for their neighbor?

If you are unaware, Neighbor, of the details surrounding and following the heinous event that resulted in Ammon’s arrest, we invite you to take a moment and become more familiar with what “the system” of government in Idaho will do to innocent people when it has the opportunity...

Baby Cyrus Was Kidnapped by CPS and Meridian Police!
The Entire Baby Cyrus Kidnapping Story
https://www.freedomman.org/cyrus/story/

Ultimately, due to the actions of Ammon and other good neighbors, the CPS case fell apart, Baby Cyrus was returned to the arms of his loving parents, and the charges against ALL OTHERS involved were dismissed. Except Ammon. Ammon’s charge of “trespassing” was NOT dropped, and he is now facing the loss of his freedom and (another) extreme hardship on his young family. Why?! Could this be another perfect example of political retaliation, since he ran against and actively worked to expose one of the most corrupt political tyrants in Idaho history: Governor Brad Little? Could it be because he, and others, recently made ground in bringing to light a deep and entrenched system of state-sponsored child-trafficking in Idaho? Could it be because the judge in this trial is one that has already shown her extreme bias against Ammon in a previous trial? We may never know, but Ammon shares his own perspective in the following open letter of warning he recently published; giving a brief overview of events and valuable insights into the reasons behind his actions that night…

Come no more upon me, a warning letter from Ammon Bundy
https://www.keepidahoidaho.org/go/65...e-4568f447323e

My friend, this is what happens when WE THE PEOPLE OF IDAHO, as a whole, do not mind well our own liberty. We stand to eventually lose it, completely.

“Let not any one pacify his conscience by the delusion that he can do no harm if he takes no part, and forms no opinion. Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing. He is not a good man who, without a protest, allows wrong to be committed in his name, and with the means which he helps to supply, because he will not trouble himself to use his mind on the subject.”

- John Stuart Mill, 1867

Or, in more common words, the old adage so testifies, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

So, Neighbor, will you now do… nothing?

Things You Can Do

1. Pray that our Father in Heaven will soften the hearts of those that are persecuting Ammon; that they will repent of their actions against him, and other innocent people, and drop the case entirely. If you don't pray, this would be a great reason to begin - petitioning the creator of heaven and earth for His protection over the innocent.

2. Show up! Plan to attend the upcoming trial in-person. There is strength in numbers.

3. Call the Idaho Attorney General, Raul Labrador, and request his office move to dismiss the erroneous charge, like he recently did in the case against Sara Brady. Several Idaho Statues (laws) were clearly violated during the Baby Cyrus ordeal. But, instead of bringing the perpetrators of the law to justice, time, energy and resources are being wasted prosecuting an innocent man that acted in good faith to prevent injury to a child.

4. Call and/or email Judge Annie McDevitt, urging her to dismiss the case, or at least recuse herself from the trial - due to publicly obvious bias during a previous sentencing - so a new judge can be assigned: 208-287-7483 (may be answered by a staff member screening calls), amcdevitt@adacounty.id.gov

5. Call and/or email Ada County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, Whitney Welsh, urging her to drop the charges, and give a personal testimony as to Ammon's character: 208 287-7700 (may be answered by a staff member screening calls), adacountyprosecutor@adacounty.id.gov

6. Share this email/information quickly. Little time is left before the trial begins, and Ammon's freedom is in jeopardy.

7. Remember another fellow Idahoan, Robert Jones. He is now serving 6 MONTHS in Ada County jail for protesting mask mandates. His crime? “Disturbing the Peace”... by banging on a bucket for 10 minutes on a public sidewalk in the middle of the day. We simply cannot allow this tyrannical trend to continue.

You would be right in that he is beong railroaded. We followed the baby Cyrus story from the beginning. The attention brought to the matter by Mr. Bundy and other protestors forced the hand of CPS and local medical "professionals" and the case went away magically. The fact that there was a gag order on the parties involved kind of speaks to the motivations of the powers that be. Hopefully the new AG steps up and issues some "guidance" to the local prosecutor. Unfortunately, Ada county is a one of the blue islands in a sea of red in Idaho.
I've said it before here in response to those who would question his resolve. The fact the man was arrested in the state capitol, and carried out handcuffed to his chair, makes him the kind of man I want representing my interests. Not some pantywaist, milquetoast politician whose ideals change with the direction of the wind, and the amount of lobbying and government funds thrown their way. Brad Little is a scumbag enough that he basically co-opted Bundy's campaign slogan of "Keep Idaho, Idaho". He was one of the first governors in the nation to institute lockdowns, bended the knee for federal ARPA funds, and as a result got a mother arrested in Boise for taking her 5 year old to the park during the covid lockdowns. It was funny, but one of the first yard signs i saw up here in the panhandle when we moved here in 2020 was a "Recall Brad Little" sign.

I voted for Ammon and would do so again.

The problem, is so called "Republicans" here in Idaho are weak kneed. Afraid to be called names so they join the RINO's like Little.

Ammon's a nut case, Little is electable, blah blah blah.

Hanko, looking at you. You get to wear that action by CPS.

Ada county is not a "blue area of Idaho." In fact, it got even more red in 2022 - since the midterms, every elected Ada county official is a Republican. Blaine, Latah, and Teton were the only counties to vote for Biden in the 2020 presidential election.

I also voted for Ammon Bundy. Most of the folks I talked too also voted for him, so it was sad to see him not win. The case against him is a bunch of BS. I hope he can run for office again in the future.

Ammon Bundy pleads guilty to trespassing at Meridian’s St. Luke’s hospital
Former gubernatorial candidate will serve one year of unsupervised probation and must pay $1,157 in fees

Bundy faces lawsuit from St. Luke’s Health System

Bundy faces a separate lawsuit from St. Luke’s Health System over a related incident. The lawsuit, filed in May 2022, claims Bundy and supporters made false statements against the hospital and led protests that resulted in a temporary lockdown at St. Luke’s in downtown Boise. The lockdown resulted in ambulances being diverted to other hospitals. It also alleges the defendants disparaged St. Luke’s, its CEO Chris Roth, and a St. Luke’s physician and nurse practitioner.

Bundy got 17.19% of the vote, less than the democrat candidate.
So less than 1 in 5 Idahoans supported him.

Ada County voted overwhelmingly Republican.
you must have mistaken it for Blaine County on the google maps.

Strakill, I voted for someone electable. Ammon was obviously not electable, and that was obvious once he threw his hat in the ring.

I voted for Bundy as well. The Idaho Republicans don't even do much research on the RINO candidates they vote for. My theory is that they've never had to worry about Cali type leaders so they just go with the status quo. Hanko voting for Little because he's "electable" is hilarious. Why not try and make Idaho even better?

The percentage of Republican voters has increased every year we've been in Idaho...around 21 years or so. Why would I be making Idaho "even better" by voting for a loser that was removed from the Capitol fastened to a chair???

All the while, Brad Little accepts ARPA funds and other federal monies with strings attached. Many Idahoans do not want this money, nor do they want the strings that come with it. His actions during the scamdemic were enough to make me a non-believer.
As for the election stats shown above by another poster, that is showing stats for one precinct in Ada County. which does not jive with the 17% stated. By sheer numbers, Idaho is still solidly red. However, there are precincts in Ada, Blaine, and Latah counties which are trending to blue. k

Northeast Boise is heavily populated, with a very engaged electorate. They like to think they're in 1960's Berkeley. They've voted blue for years. They have an outsized influence on city politics, but that may change with redistricting. During the 2022 midterms, Eastern Boise swayed the Ada County election to Arkoosh and Manweiller. However, Republicans gained complete control over every elected Ada County office, including the county commissioners.

Here's a link to detailed midterm 2022 results from Ada County:

Here is my own analysis done on the governor's race between 2018 and 2022. I looked at the state overall, Ada County and Kootenai. So in theory I'm covering to big counties that represent the north and south as well as the state overall. You'll see my numbers in term of ratios as I think it paints a better picture.

2018 ratio: For every one D vote, there were 1.565 R votes.
2022 ratio: For every one D vote, there were 2.981 R votes. (doesn't include Bundy)

If my math is right, then for sure, statewide it seems to be more red. And that's not taking into account that Bundy got a bunch of votes. If he had not (and those had gone R), ratio would be even higher (3.826).

Now for Ada only:

2018: For every one D vote, there were 0.978 R votes. (Brad Little lost Ada)
2022: For every one D vote, there were 1.96 R votes.

If my math and thinking/logic here are right, then for sure ratio has improved greatly towards R. Effectively doubled in 4 years. Could there be other factors here...absolutely. But I'm not familiar enough to comment. So I guess it's true (at least based on this data only) that Idaho has become more red...even Ada. And that doubling in Ada matches the state ratio.

Appreciate any feedback here on the logic / math.

Just for fun let's look at Kootenai:

2018: For every one D vote, there were 2.166 R votes.
2022: For every one D vote, there were 4.118 R votes. (Again if Bundy wasn't running, it would be higher)

My experience with local RINO politicians here in Kootenai County and the shenanigans at play, are enough to convince me. People's Rights are folks who are active in their local politics, many of whom come from out of state and are trying to awaken the native electorate of the dangers of good 'ol boy politics, and the far-reaching effects of dependency on federal blackmail funds. Pretty much the only reason they are branded far-right is the fact they hold the elected officials feet to the fire. They are also the citizens who protest the firing of health care workers who didn't vax, in front of Kootenai Health, only to see Kootenai Health offer fat housing and hiring bonuses to traveling nurses and other health care workers who kiss the ring of Fauci. They also mobilized the same protests in front of the BNSF Hauser Yard to protest the federal vax mandate on rail and transportation workers.

Trending to blue???

They've been blue for as long as I can remember. Blaine county is obvious given the continuation of California money for the yearly Sun Valley conference. Ada county votes Republican less a few precincts that have voted Demo for years.

Here in District 26, we turned a blue seat red.
Legislative District 26, Seat B went to Jack Nelson after a recount.
District 26 includes Blaine, Lincoln and Jerome counties
