Default What is your favorite IE Gun store?

Like the title says, what's your favorite gun store in the IE and why?

For me, it has to be Ernie from Tin Star Supply in Oak Hill. Great service, great prices.

+1 For Earnie. Great guy and awesome prices.

WarriorOne in Riverside is also ran by some good guys also.

Ammo Bro's is good, but usually too busy and crowded.

Turners in Chino Hills is actually pretty decent, have done PPT and bought from them without issues and have heard their staff referring people to Calguns.

The one that's going to release to me in 10 days.

I've been to quite a few and since they are our front line to public image and information, It's very easy to understand how so many people are misinformed. Even those who are "vendors" on this site spread FUD that has been dis-proven in various stickies.

I have no one favorite but I appreciate Highland pawn in Highland for charging a flat $35 regardless of the transfer type. Although they failed me on my last transfer and I abandoned a rifle receiver there over an omitted piece of paper... Every FFL has good and bad days.

Have any of you been to the Norco Armory? how is that place? Are there any in the Alta Loma area near the 210fwy that you guys like? BassPro is pretty much picked over, same with Turners in Rancho...

also, which stores offer gunsmithing? I may have to buy an AR Upper and Barrel from different vendors cuz nobody has complete uppers right now and I don't have the tools and headspace gauge to assemble those components myself..

Although a very small outfit, I would like to give a plug for:

Charlie's Gunshop / urban tactical in Apple Valley, CA off Outer Highway 18.

He is a good guy, shoots 3 gun, NRA member, veteran, etc. I truly appreciate and respect the fact that it is a FUD FREE ZONE at his shop!

A hidden gem in Apple Valley IMO

Thats pretty funny. Dean and Mike both assisted me on my recent m&p purchase. Best customer service I have ever received in a Turners.

Heard good things about 'The Shootist' in Murrieta, but have purchase quite a bit via Ammo Bros, in both their stores(Ontario and Cerritos)

I can't believe no one has mentioned Faith Armory in Temecula! Best Gun shop I've ever been to, shopped at. Great service and have(had?) Free introduction, safety, and general education classes every other Wednesday I believe.

Norco Armory is my LGS and the guy who runs it is straight up. No sugar coating and not trying to sell you stuff you don't need. He'll take the time to help you figure out the machine for the mission; you want a long range tactical Mini-14? A home defense gun in .416 Cheytac? He'll give good counsel.

I also like Bullet Barn in Upland, on Central uphill of The Hat pastrami. Brian's a good guy and he tends to weed out the lookie-lou's and the wannaguns. Treats military right, too.

Hello everyone. I'm new at Calguns. For me, it was a tie between Turners in Corona and Ammo Bros in Ontario. Then, about six months ago, I found Norco Armory in Norco. The proprietor, Jeff, is friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and a gunsmith, which is a plus for me. It's a small shop but he can order what you're looking for. What I like about this shop is the customer treatment.

+1 Ernie from Tin Star Supply in Oak Hill. Had multiple lowers shipped to him and gave me a very fair price. Great email communication.

Also Turners Rancho Cucamonga for their very polite and helpful staff.

+1 for Faith Armory
& they have a free Handgun Safety Class for your friends and family new to the game. Joel and Matt were very friendly and helpful.

I'll add Steelwater (just around the corner from Faith) to the list as well. Smaller shop but everyone is great.

The Shootist is good but I wont send anyone new to guns in there.

I just found a place in Yucaipa called Stars and Stripes Tactical. I've been looking for a place thats cust. service oriented. Joe G spent time with me for 30 min after they closed to answer questions for me, so they will be my go to shop. Plus he said they do gun smithing which I'm gonna need soon

Faith Armory in Temecula is awesome. I'm going to the free Handgun Safety Class tomorrow. Adam is awesome. Great service. They're moving to a larger location in March.

Steelwater in Temecula. New shop. Some of the gals in there are really sharp, and women might really like going there to talk to another gal. Very friendly and free coffee. They have lots of CCI 22LR right now.

Bullseye, turners , ammo bro, warriorone all are fairly good in customer service and not far apart in price. Worst has to be hands down centerfire in riverside small inventory not friendly at all.

I would shop at Annie's but their 5.56 ammo 20round box for $19.99 is too steap, but I like turners in rancho better than chino

Norco Armory is cool, smaller shop but Jeff the owner offers gunsmithing and is a good guy. I have done a PPT there and had some smith work, and I was happy with everything. Incoming transfers are only $65 including DROS so that is great compared to the other options in the area.

Turners Corona is the best, especially Mike. Great customer service. Above and beyond! People there like Dean, Gonzo, Richard, Lou, Charles are good with customers. They are so good that I bought 9 firearms and two lowers from them in 2 months.

Warrior One Guns and Ammo in Riverside. Mike and Norris are really friendly and upfront about things. Definitely recommend them, and they seem to actually get inventory from time to time now (25 Del-Ton lowers last week)

I have bought from Annie's in Corona, very helpful albeit priced a bit on the steep side. Turners in Corona has better prices but depending who you get to help you they can be tools.

I stay away from Ammo Bros, always too crowded overpriced and unhelpful.

Like Warrior One, Ammo Bros was cool but crowded. Not impressed with Victor Valley Shooters. I'd stay away! Diamond Armory in Hesperia is pretty good as well, at least so far. Just opened up.

Best- Selection- Ammo Bros. Ontario, Knowledge/Help- K&D San Bernardino
WORST- Service- Berman and Sons- treat people like junk or idiots or both. I kept thinking if I went enough or bought enough that would change....never has...stopped going. Service/Selection- toss up between Dave's Magnum San Bernardino or Turner's San Bernardino. Dave's is horribly, filthy, rude and Turner's is inept.

That's good to hear...thinking of doing PPT there soon. I live near them, but have never had to deal with the gun counter - I only purchase consumables (patches, solvent, brushes, etc.). The cashiers have always been nice and helpful at that location.

Charlie's urban tactical supply in Apple Valley is one of the best shops I've ever been to. Charlie has knowledge on everything from antiques to modern tactical as well as gun laws, loopholes, and BLM land that is best for shooting in the high desert. He is also an avid 3 gun shooter and has won multiple awards for his efforts. This man and his shop are the embodiment of what California shooting and sales should be.
