I’m in Palm Springs part time (on the reservation in Vista Las Palmas). Is PSPG worth joining? Do they take smelly old guys? I’m already a member of Winchester Canyon Gun Club and San Luis Obispo Sportsmen's Association, but would like to support another gun club.

Aren't most people from the land of the desperate smelly? JOKING!!!

I have hear awesome things about PSPG and High Desert. They're a bit far from me, but I have a friend whose dad is a member of PSPG and he speaks nothing but good. Fees are about $150 a year and you have to apply, do an interview with them.
