Faith Armory in Temecula

I'm still a few months out from moving back but I was googling the old FFL's I used to frequent and I noticed Faith Armory is out of business. That's too bad. I much preferred West Coast Ammo but ngl, Faith always had hot chicks working there which gave me a reason to spend $1 extra for some uplula loaders and other crap. I never found their prices to be competitive but I always saw lines and crowds in there there so I figured they'd be fine.


Are there any new shops in the area worth checking out?

Faith has been gone for awhile. West coast moved locations a little more south in town. Newest place I can think of is sportsman’s warehouse. There’s still the shootist, they’re always pleasant to deal with. Bought guns from all them and even turners and never had any issues with any of them. I think if you want to chat, west coast and shootist are the most friendly.

Bass and Brass and Sportsman’s are good places. Friendly and eager to answer any questions. I have had two bad experiences with the shootist. Never going back. But others like them. Anyways. Welcome back and good luck.

I’ve always like the Shootist. Use to go there when I worked in Riverside County. Really nice people there.

The shooting likes to spread lies about other dealers. When I had my ffl the daughter of the owner called the atf and all my distributors and claimed I was selling illegal Firearms because I was selling ar and AK Firearms that were ca legal. My rep from davidsons went to bat for me and kept davidsons from pulling my account. At the time I was selling more guns via gun genie out of my house then all the other dealers in riverside county combined. Watch out for the shootist pulling illegal crap with guns. At one time the owner was under investigation for making and selling full auto guns.

Faith armory was a great shop when owned by Nate, once he sold it to his employee it went down hill quick. I missed the archery range as did my kids.

I remember the archery shop. I used to love a Cuban restaurant right by there and I took a few dates to Faith Armory right after eating and the fact that the place had so many young female employees def helped them relax while we checked out guns or bows.

Change in ownership def explains why they're gone now though.

Yes to Faith Armory. It was great! Always welcoming! Had done a lot of PPTs there. Loved their consignment displays! Moved away and did not know they had shut down. Nate was very nice and upstanding !

I went to the SHOOTIST once…. Never went back! Was made to feel very unwelcoming ! Felt like “old boys club”.

Had the exact same experience the one time I visited the Shootist in person back in like 2015.

The shootist is so hit or miss depending on what side of the bed the employees woke up on.

I bought an aero lower from there and they said to come back in 30 days and I was like what why, they said the new law was 30 days to pickup a firearm and when I came back they told me the DROS expired and they had to do ANOTHER one "free of charge" because the employee messed up and I had to wait another 10 days.

On top of the employees just ignoring you if you look a certain way.

Guess the only question I would have is what the hell are you moving back to this state? It’s over priced and over crowded and run like a circus.
