Okay guys, this needs to be clarified as to what is or is not a Cartel Security force?
Just guys out shooting guns or shooting their mouths off?

Nothing going to put the squelch on our SSZS events like having the wrong impressions out there amongst Calgunners.

Its cold water on a hot night out on the town.

Nothing to worry about?

It’s something to watch in the future, but as I mentioned above, it was just some confusion from people that neighbor allowed to use his property. Lonewolf spoke with owner and there were no issues.

Dude, the dez is home for people like us! I look suspicious as hell most of the time, but that doesn't make me dangerous.

Half the time I'm on BLM I'm by myself, the rest of the time I'm with a group. 100% of the time I'm open carrying. Anytime I see other people approaching I keep an eye on them.

Maybe they were noobs to the desert and thought you were suspicious?

There seems to be an aura of fear that there are roving bands of bandits preying on unsuspecting visitors in the desert, and that being out in "the wilderness" is dangerous.

I'm guessing that AAR's eye patch, long hair and swarthy scowl gave them the heebie-jeebies.

Just wanted to say 'Thanks " to All that made this Great event happen
The RSOs who gave up their range time .. The cooking Staff !
All the people that were so generous with all the food .. Incredible
even down to a Zombie Birthday cake !!
And our Cal-Gun outfitter --Vic !!( Heck of a Yardsale )

With All the Crazy Crud going on in the world . It's so nice to get together with a Bunch of friends and leave the problems behind .
And everyone IS a friend out there . From all walks of life , Young and old
Seems every time I go to this event I met new people and Instantly another friend ..

I was sitting by the Big campfire Saturday night , Looking around at all the stars in the clear sky , all the smiling faces and thought How Good this is ....

But Nobody drank the Alcohol mixed Eggnog that been sitting out since Friday night ??

I'm glad you all had a great time. I had planned on going and bringing some of my grandsons and son up like I've done in the past. Heck, I even have my own RV now, no more rentals for me. Unfortunately it didn't pan out. Two of my grandsons were in a high school play and that was more important than the Shoot plus no one else not involved could go anyhow.. I can only hope I can go to the next one, body and family permitting.
