For you guys coming in at night, the drop off about 200 yards from the trailhead is marked with reflective posts. There's a mild drop to the left. It looks like recent rains eroded the right side. Keep left and you'll be fine.

Edit: nevermind, got it sorted.

Anyone in downtown LA area? I'm ready to go but did not think of how I'm supposed to lift a giant roof top tent on top of my truck.

Update.

So far, 12-15 RVs ( 5th wheels, Motor homes, trailers, Hybrids, etc.) , and tents all over the place and counting.

The LINE is already marked, several canopies already in place, great spots still available.

Weather is awesome!!!.

Really bummed, I probably won't be able to make it. Working tonight and Sunday night. Slight chance of making it Saturday afternoon, very slight. Hope everyone that does make it has a blast.

Please hang onto it until tomorrow at 1100. I'll have the cook station set up and accept stuff to cook then.

I am still at drill. Are drive ups allowed tomorrow, (Sunday)?

ALSO, I have to call into a Regimental Safety Meeting... Is there cell service in that area.

Awesome as always. Thank you Vick for letting me hang out with you. Range was great even with slight delay on Saturday by our neighbor to the west. Food was delicious thank you for generosity at main camp. I look forward to seeing you all again and spread the word so we can have new faces attend.

Thanks to everyone for attending. We had another safe event. A big thanks to those of you who contributed to the potluck and Porta John fund.

Most of all, thanks to the volunteer RSOs who kept the line moving and everyone safe.

I look forward to seeing everyone next year.

Sad to report that our SSZS road signs are no longer ( the end of an era).

Can't believe the total disrespect towards family property

Only one sign remains after our last family event weekend!

Sad, pretty sad.

Someone noted that it may have been the operators/security that a few members "encountered" on Saturday afternoon.

I wouldn't be surprised by this...

The security forces for Juan Rivera if I remember them saying the name correctly.

Operators/security is a little exaggerated. They were people with the neighbors permission to use the land that caused a little hiccup.
