Really wanted to make this, but unfortunately I have to work. I was looking forward to seeing everyone I met last time, and meeting new people. Maybe next year.

Was hoping to at least make the Potluck today and hangout with you guys tonight.
Best part of this event is the socializing and hanging with friends and making new friends.
Missing the hugs and shots

Shooting for next April, Springtime SSZS.

Sorry I missed you guys. You came in about the same time I was going out. I made it home about 6 PM and was so glad to be back since I left October 5 to travel

Another great year. Thank you to everyone involved.

A little windy and a little chilly.

Lots of fun tons of food.

And the cookies kept on coming.

Dang, I got into a car accident on Tuesday and fractured my T7 rib and L3 spine. I would've totally been there otherwise.

Haven't seen you guys in years, and I'm hoping to make it to the next one.

What is the news with that private piece of land to the left of the shooting line?

Well it was great to be back and reconnect with everyone again. It was smaller than previous years, but that's okay. It just meant there was more opportunity to talk to the core group. I think I drank more on Friday night than the past three years combined.

Only one gong challenge participant hit the 3" gong at 250 yds in seven tries with iron sights and a wicked crosswind. That is worthy of a stock. His buddy hit the 4" gong twice in a row with an NC Star 9x42 scope, also not an easy feat and worthy of a stock.

It took me until Sunday and probably 60 rounds of precious .308 to hit the 3". The wind was whipping pretty good!!

Thank you to Mr. X and all the hard working brothers and sisters that brought it all together. I don't remember her name and her son (chemo brain) but she was the gem of the gig!! What a sweetie. I wish she was my mom!!

Thanks to everyone for the kind words and the fun times.

Bako Jr and I are back in Northern Utah eagerly awaiting this week's snow.

Looking forward to next year already.

This was my first visit out there and I had a blast. Great to meet some of you at the fire pit Saturday night. Stayed most of the day Sunday even with the wind and one of the gang was still out there shooting when I left around 2:30. Looking forward to the next one!

Thank you for grilling Bako! That was a lot of meat to cook and I appreciate how much work you put in to feed everyone by lunch. I hope everyone liked the pork chops.
Thanks to everyone contributing to the potluck, food tins, utensils, etc.

Great event and good times as always.

I'd like to apologize to the RSO's by the red flag about the high flying casings coming from my fun gun lineup. Was splitting my attention between my fam and my puppy and I didn't block all the time. PM me if you'd like to talk.

To the family with the constant cookies Sat night - they were perfect! Warmed me all up inside, where the flaming furniture of fun couldn't reach TY
My cousin always offers kombucha wherever he goes. Didn't mean to push it on the group but I hope the partakers liked it. I know Mr. Lonewolf did

To everyone I met and matched faces to screen names, I'm sorry I have a horrible memory when it comes to names, but thank you for the good times, reloading tips & info, and the happy hoppy juice given to us on Sunday - much <3
Yugo was the guy who taught me how easy it is to roast garlic over a campfire using just tin foil and olive oil on my first SSZS. Missed saying hi to you bud.

Bummer. I hope you're able to make a full recovery.
I got into a motorcycle accident a few months ago. Ran into a drunk suicidal kid walking in the direction of traffic on the 10 fwy. Shattered my left radius and the docs just took out all the hardware a few weeks ago. I lost my "get out of a metal detector free" card, but I gained my wrist function back just in time to test its tolerance at SSZS.

Like the pics I posted before, the fencing and fencing materials are to the far, far left, out of the way of our valley of targets.

I was waiting for Seoul Korean BBQ in Victorville to open up at 3pm before leaving

What a fine meet up. It was wonderful to finally have the opportunity to put some faces to names, which I think was promoted by the smaller group that attended this year.

Those cases of hard kombucha were fantastic, I never got so s***-faced without being hungover the next day.

But definitely love to do it again, just not when it's so damn cold. I moved to a whole different state to avoid 30° weather.

Hopefully I'll be surgery free (had a complete shoulder joint replacement 11-8 and still in a sling. Heck I can't even drive until 12-20) so I can attend the next one and bring my son and grandsons back up. They all had a great time the last time we went and were bummed out we couldn't go this time as was I.

I hope everyone who went had a great time and the shoot was injury free as usual.

Glad you enjoyed them. It's got some antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and probiotics in there. Not as much as in the non-alcoholic version, but leads to less of a hangover and a better drop in the porta-potty. My cousin always pushes them while camping, lmao
