Another bee canyon thread

My friend just got a new bolt action 308 for Christmas and wants me to teach him how to use it, and because he lives in hemet I figured bee canyon may be a decent place to go( not sure if he’s ready for hodge yet) but I haven’t been there in a while and after looking at maps I’m starting to wonder if their is any spot there that’s in the 50 to 100 yard range? I was looking at maybe the second/ left hairpin might have a long enough canyon to use but I’m not sure. And how does the call in verification that’s it’s ok to shoot work? I called today and it said 1A but the website seems to only have numbers not letters.

Whelp I schlepped down to hemet to take a look at the spots that can be shot at and found a spot long enough, it wasn’t the spot I guessed off maps but one things solved. I called again today and still got the 1A but when I got there their were signs saying no target shooting so that’s conflicting info.
