NNPC Fun Match Burro Canyon 8/14/2021
Hi, gang. Just a reminder that our next match will be Saturday, 14 August 2021, at Burro Canyon. I am hopeful that some of this heat will have ended by then, but I won’t hold my breath. As usual, there will be two pistol stages followed by a three gun stage. In light of the weather, I will try to limit how strenuous the stages will be. There may even be a surprise on the way. Range 1C at 9 am. Register with us, not the office.

We had a good match today. One stage we ran the standard El Presidente for a quick and easy drill.
Next month, on 9/11, per request, we will do a rimfire match. The 3 stage will use rimfire handgun and rifle but a centerfire shotgun. If you don't have one or want to use one of our "tactical" versions, just bring a box of 12 GA birdshot. Last edited by Calif Hunter; 08-14-2021 at 2:15 PM..

I still call it a match, but it is really more of a fun shoot as we do not really compete except against ourselves perhaps as we strive to improve our performance. We run it like a match - cold range, load on the line when instructed to do so, the stages are timed, etc.
