I know this thread is a bit old, but here's what I have found out.
Emailed them earlier this week looking for info, got a reply the next day. They are currently open for new memberships. If you are looking to take a tour of the facility prior to joining (who wouldn't?), you can do so on Saturdays between 8am - 11am. As far as becoming a member, the website states "Bring your completed application. We are there most Saturdays between 9am to 2pm." The one-time membership/initiation fee is $300, then $350 yearly dues. The yearly dues are pro-rated based on your join date. I'll be heading there this Saturday to have a look and will likely join.
