Dropping in to say hi. As a prospective first time firearm owner, I found the community super informative and helpful. Grew up in a household deathly afraid of guns, but after becoming an adult, I discovered shooting through some good friends who shoot/hunt on the regular. It’s been exhilarating! (I’ll be tagging along on a hunt soon).

Hi All,
Not sure what is appropriate so hopefully i am not breaking any rules. We just opened our Calguns vendor thread under Ammunition1 in the vendor section. We opened our ammunition store, The Copper Jacket, in Thousand Oaks 6 weeks ago and are new to Calguns. Hello there, first post.
I am moving to California (from Texas) in the next couple of months, somewhere around Agoura Hills most likely. I am going through severe cold turkey at the moment as I am selling off some of my toy collection to keep it legal when I get there.......excuse me I just need to go snivel in a corner for a moment. I now need to figure out the administrative procedure for bringing my pistols and a couple of shotguns over. Oh the masochistic joys of bureaucracy and paperwork.

Just in case: off roster handguns are not automatically illegal in CA. Standard cap. mags can be blocked to 10.
