Default Can I bring disassembled 30 round magazines?

is it legal to possess disassembled 30 round magazines in California as long as they're never assembled?

I ask this because I plan on taking my rifles once in a while to Nevada to have some fun, Would like to buy stuff that I can't use here like 30 round magazines or higher.

Is this okay to do so? I'd keep everything apart in ammo boxes, 1 box full of bodies, 1 of springs and plates/followers.

Good idea, buy a mag or 2 there. Before you come back convert them to 10 round. Then if you don't want them after you come back, just sell them.

I see a 5'x5' for $20 a month, but then again I think it'd be safer and smarter on the wallet, to just buy a bunch of 10/30's and just install the magazine release while I'm there....

You know I went this weekend to Vegas for free because of a timeshare presentation (3 hours in exchange for a free 3 day 2 night stay at a resort) he tried to convince me to buy it by telling me that I can purchase weapons using the timeshare address and just bring them to Cali.... lmfao.... what?

A safe deposit box in Nevada to store your magazines would be cheaper.

Timeshare salesmen will say absolutely anything to entice you buy. Just tell them you’re only there for the two free nights.

Rent a UPS box for $10/month and store it inside. You can order packages too and save ~2% on sales tax. The box pays for itself. Or you can dig a hole on the side of road and bury it there each time.
