There appears to be a connection between Russia and Iran. Israel is in the mix as well. As I have written before it seems to me that Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled. I leave it to my friend Pastor Bill to deal with the specifics. My job is not one of prophecy. It is to save the souls that I can. My encouragement to everyone on the board is to acknowledge the Lord as your savior and to confess Him as your Lord. Saying this is somewhat uncomfortable for me because I am unworthy to say anything. But God is love and I care for all of you. I am compelled to say what I have written. I want all of you to have the joy that is ahead.

some fear for coming intense persecution but the focus and hope is with Christ. so look up, your redemption is drawing near.

Heavy duty signs have been going down since WW1 onward, add WWII, and Israel proclaiming Statehood in May 1948, that last one was the Big Kahuna etc ! Yep Dirtlaw, that subject bears mucho attention. However, pray for wisdom in these current times, its very much needed and The Almighty will give you updates frequently. Check out Ephesians ch 1 vs 17-21, Colossians ch 1 vs 9-12. Read these scriptures aloud and expect insight to come your way, it will, be patient. The new government in Israel will make some big changes over the next months and signs are already telling.

1 Peter 4:7 The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer. 8 Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins. 9 Be hospitable to one another without complaint. 10 As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

"The end of all things is near!" "End" means completion and "is near" is a special verb tense that says that the end drew near at a point in the past and continues to remain near. When it the end draw near? At Christ's resurrection. The verse supports the pre-trib rapture view.

V.7b-11 remind us of all that we need to be doing - every day - in light of the fact that the Rapture could come at any moment (nothing left on the Bible's time line to know when- so, any time!).

What you posted from the news, is part of God's constant/continual reminder to live 1 Peter 4:7-11. Every time we see these events, we witness more, serve more, pray more, everything more for the Lord!

This bears not on my faith. But there have been signs of the end and prophecies of the end and trials and tribulations since shortly after the Resurrection. As for me, I remember that I am clearly told that no one but God knows or will know the date and time. This being the case, I will continue to live my life as I have always done: with Jesus in my heart, joy for the blessings in my life and love for all. The end comes when it will come, and I will not have a heavy heart thinking on it overly much.

But that is just me and what I have read.

yes, Jesus said "nobody knows the hour or day..." but He gave His disciples the signs of the last days.

Look, don’t get caught up with a news app in one hand and the Bible in the other. When it’s time, Jesus will be sure to let us all know. I for one am NOT relying on the news media to let me think that I know when Christ will return.

Also, every century beginning with Christ’s appearance after the cruxifiction, have the masses thought “this is it, the end!” Then the next century rolls in and the “repeat” cycle goes on and on. We need to be ready literally every second of our lives for The Lord’s return, yet not worry about it. There’s nothing we can do, except preach the gospel as we are called to do …”to the ends of the earth.” Jesus will take care of the rest by doing His part.

Remember, just prior to Jesus' ascension, the Apostles were still confused about the "restoration" and deliverance of the people of Israel from foreign domination and for the establishment of an earthly kingdom. In Acts 1:6-8, Jesus’ followers thought He was going to restore His glorious Kingdom right then and there! But Jesus had and still has, other plans…

6Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

The reference to the "coming of the Spirit" had caused them to wonder if the new age was about to dawn. But it didn’t and hasn’t yet even to this very day. If you’re reading this, it hasn’t occurred yet.
