This looks like a fun thread, haha.

Anyways, here is my very simple setup. Still haven't shot it with the light mounted yet but its a simple clean setup that I will use for a lowlight carbine/pistol course starting next month.

My old recce that was dedicated to use under NODs for the most part as well as some daytime "long range" shooting.

LA-5C/PEQ - dangerously strong and can light things on fire under high in close ranges.

SR-15 with DBAL-i2 dual IR. This thing was depressing after using the LA-5C

Indeed. It was the **** for long range night time shooting, light up everything further than what my rifle was capable of.

Its a pressure pad mounting system from cloud defensive. Weighs about 2 oz with screws. Not a big deal for me.
