Default Red dot recommendation for PCC

Looking for red dot recommendations for my Ruger PC9.

It'll be helpful if you can share the sight picture as well.

No firm budget but would like to stay under $500.

Thanks!

Big fan of the 510c. used 503c for a year and no complaints as well.

That comes in a green dot version too. Supposedly green is easier to see than red.

For bigger budgets, the Eotechs seem to be really good wrt parallax. Don't know about parallax on the Holosun. Some dot sights claim to be parallax-free, but some of them are only parallax "resistant".

How do the holosuns compare to the Leupold Deltapoints?

And what MOA size do you recommend?

Sightmarks have been good to me and don't come near breaking the bank.

This. One of the best choices for USPSA & SCSA. We have three of them. Old tech, but they have the best dot options, IMO of course.

What MOA dot seems to work best for everyone? I've been told 2 is about right since there are some "long distance" shots.

I prefer 8MOA for USPSA PCC after trying several other dot sizes.

It depends on where you shoot. Find some youtubes on the Arizona State PCC Championships, shots over 100 yards in places. They also had some pretty precise shots, like having to bust a clay pigeon out of a metal flapper. Hit the flapper and the whole target rack starts moving.

EOTECH. I have shot 3gun with my AR for years, throwing it barrels and never lost zero.

I have an Eotech and a Holosun 510c. Both work fine, but you can get two Holosun's for the price of one Eotech.
