1n09 city creek cleanup (SoCal)

Hi all,
I’m attempting to put together a cleanup of 1n09 City Creek shooting area here in SoCal (San Bernardino mtns, US Forest Service land). I wanted to see if there was any interest first, and second, if anyone would be willing to help. We were out there last week, and it’s a mess, trash and shells everywhere, people leaving stuff laying on the road, it’s disgusting. I spoke with a USFS ranger, and there is consideration of closing the spot permanently due to the above. Being we’re so hard pressed for areas here in SoCal that aren’t a range or the desert, if losing another spot can be avoided, I want to do what I can to help. Date is TBD, the road is open and passable for high clearance vehicles (pickups, SUV’s etc) and 4x4 is not required. If there’s enough interest, I’ll figure out a date that falls within the next 2-3 weeks, and get more info out ASAP. Please let me know if interested, and hopefully we can come together and show anti gunners that we can take care of our shooting spots!
